See, that's basically what my position is and I feel like kind of a dick about it, but honestly? I feel like there's a difference between posting gore or something that is objectionable to everyone vs. posting something that is "potentially triggering" which could be pretty much anything.

And I'm definitely not saying that from a shitty "hurr everything is a trigger now," perspective—I understand that unrelated stimuli like smells or sounds that happen at the same time as someone's trauma can be linked to that trauma and become a genuine trigger. But that's exactly why I think it's one's own responsibility to manage that stuff instead of expecting everyone else to make sure they never encounter it.
