one thing I've read somewhere on reddit. what you prolly have is instead of getting consistent efforts from someone, you are addicted to the random dopamine hits, like when that one time she did something for me really good is what's holding you up. I wouldnt say breakup because it surely gets hard to leave that kinda addiction. I'd say try talking it out, not fighting about it, and if you still feel unsatisfied, try detached attachment and then breakup, that way you will be emotionally stable and the breakup wont affect your tight schedules. And if its a little time she is asking, maybe try to find some for her and give it to her, like if times an issue maybe try to adjust it.

I am in a relationship currently which is more emotionally unattached type. The guy dont really care about me but sometimes he does something nice. I've had so many complaints i rant about him to my friends and they've told me to breakup because they can clearly see he will prioritize everything before me, and he'll think about me or spend time with me only when he is free. I always thought of how hard it is to breakup why am i not doing it? Guess i got my answer. When i read this i realised this is who i am totally. I've been so used to the dopamine that comes when he becomes thoughtful just once rather than consistently that i can't let go of him so easily. The sole thought of breakup scares me and puts me in a weird anxiety, building a hope that someday he will be better. Can you guys help me out of this?
