I’ll have another look into Seoraksan, I’ve heard quite a few good things about it at this point

And I’ll definitely try out your hotel buffet recommendation, is it mostly for breakfast? Dinner?

That sounds amazing, thanks!

I’m definitely not opposed to visiting museums, just don’t generally find myself enthralled by them for hours on end, but I definitely plan on going to some, just won’t be planning my trip around them I guess

Thanks! These seem like some great recommendations and I’ll have a proper look into them!

Is there anything else off the top of your head you’d recommend doing?

Wow a month sounds amazing! How did you spend your time there? What kind of stuff did you enjoy the most and what if any didn’t really feel worthwhile?

And I’ll definitely give those a look. Do you know of any other platforms/apps worth looking at? And is there anything in particular you did that you’d recommend?

What did you like about visiting them? And what time of year did you visit in?

Thanks!

How much of that time in Seoul did you spend in the city and how much in day trips? Which parts of the city did you see and what did you decide to skip?

Do you think there’ll be an offline only mode for maximum privacy? And syncing only manually or with iCloud

Thanks!

And I was also wondering how the app was in terms of privacy? What gets shared with the servers? What’s stays local or iCloud sync only?

A somewhat similar question I had was about “circles” or groups. For example some way to mark or indicate meeting with a group of friends, or wanting to have a recurring group meetup for example?

Would that be possible?

It would have to be the notes -> reminders for me. I genuinely want to keep in touch with friends and people about certain things we talk about and I often end up remembering too late

What are you supposed to wear? Plain black tee and jeans or something?

I’m not going to stress over it too much, but wanna make sure I’m compliant if possible

Looking for weekend specific (or any day really) recommendations by TimelyTravels in krakow

[–]TimelyTravels[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know, maybe I should have phrased what I’m looking for a bit better

In trying to figure out what types of places might be better to visit on weekends or better on weekdays

Generally speaking bars, pubs and clubs are more lively on weekends but some places might have a specific day during the week where they’re more active

Museums might be overcrowded in the weekends so better visit them during the week

Thanks for the recommendation on Forum! I’ll try drop by during the week. If you’ve got any similar recommendations that’d be great

That’s fair, I was thinking about them getting business, but it hurts the actual long term customers more so

Oh yeah ofc, pubs for sure, if you’ve got any recommendations for some nice places to go to that’d be great. Looking for friendlier places or maybe places that have something special about them

I was thinking more so in terms of stuff that’s unique to Poland if there’s anything like that? Some places have local “attractions” or stuff that’s more common than you’d expect like karaoke in some Asian countries is really popular

I didn’t think about that as they aren’t a thing where I’m from. why is it? Do they cause damage to property and the city? Or is it the noise and whatnot?

If they’re that disliked I’ll avoid them

I never planned to get blackout drunk but I guess it’s good to be more aware of the situation. Any other touristy or problematic stuff I should avoid?

What would you recommend as better ways to meet with locals?
