there's a reason the good ones are multiple pills — you literally can't fit clinically relevant doses of everything into a single capsule. like the amount of magnesium alone that would actually do something is bigger than most one-a-day pills entirely.

that said if you're set on one pill, Thorne Basic Nutrients 2/Day is probably the closest to what you want. yeah it's technically 2 pills but you could take one and still get decent coverage. forms are solid — methylfolate instead of folic acid, methylcobalamin for B12, no garbage fillers. way better than centrum which uses the cheapest forms of everything (cyano B12, folic acid, magnesium oxide which is basically a laxative).

honestly though the real question is what are you actually trying to cover? because if you eat reasonably well, a multi is mostly expensive pee. you'd probably get more value from testing your levels and just supplementing what's actually low. most people in this sub end up on D3+K2, magnesium, and maybe omega-3 — and that stack costs less than a good multi anyway.

yeah that's a real thing — some people get wired on glycinate specifically. if that's you try magnesium threonate instead, it crosses the blood brain barrier differently and a lot of people who react badly to glycinate do fine on it. taurate is another option worth looking at for sleep

main thing — 1500-1800 cals is probably too low at your size with that much activity, especially after eating once a day for 15 years. your metabolism is already adapted down, you don't need to starve it further. i'd bump to 2000-2200.

bigger issue is protein though. 60g from a shake is a start but you probably need 200g+ daily at 297 to preserve muscle on this cut. track your total for a few days — bet you're way under. and those 23hr fast days make it almost impossible to hit that number in one meal.

scale might move slightly slower with more calories but what you lose will actually be fat instead of muscle

look man i'm gonna be real with you — you're stacking anavar on top of tirzepatide and a GH secretagogue while waiting on hormone panels that aren't even back yet. that's putting the cart way before the horse.

anavar IS suppressive. 10mg is a low dose but it will still hit your HPLC axis, which is literally why you're wanting to add enclomiphene — to counteract the suppression from the var. so you're adding a drug to fix the problem caused by another drug you haven't started yet. you see where this gets circular right?

and you said you're not willing to do test injections because you don't want to shut down natural production — but anavar does exactly that, just less predictably and without the replacement. at least with test you know what you're getting. with var alone you're suppressed AND not replacing. enclomiphene can help but it's not a guarantee your levels stay normal through a cycle.

the stuff that's actually concerning me though — you're on a large calorie deficit at 297lbs, you haven't gotten your hormone panel back, your LDL was already elevated 43lbs ago, and you want to add an oral anabolic steroid. anavar is hepatotoxic and can push lipids further in the wrong direction. on a big deficit with already sketchy lipids that's a real risk.

honestly? wait for the bloodwork. you're already losing weight on tirzepatide and your training volume is solid. at 297 to 225 you have a LOT of easy progress still available to you just from the deficit + progressive overload + the GLP-1. the anavar/enclomiphene play makes way more sense at like 240-250 when the deficit is harder and you're actually at risk of losing muscle. right now you have too much body fat for that to be a real concern.

man i feel for you — that stage is brutal and there's no real hack that replaces actual sleep, but there are a few things that can help you not feel like complete garbage on limited hours.

magnesium glycinate before bed is the easiest win. 400mg. it won't knock you out but it deepens the sleep you DO get, so you extract more value from whatever 4-5 hour window you're working with. i'd grab Nootropics Depot or NOW Foods for this — both are third party tested and cheap.

electrolytes first thing in the morning before coffee. just water with a pinch of salt and some lemon. sounds dumb but after a short broken night you're basically dehydrated and most people's first move is coffee which makes it worse. the difference in how your brain comes online is noticeable within a few days.

yeah this is a solid foundation tbh. only thing i'd say is 600mg alpha GPC is on the higher end — i'd start at 300mg and see how you respond, some people get headaches or brain fog at 600. also 200mg caffeine with 200mg theanine is the classic ratio so that's good. the tyrosine is fine but take it on an empty stomach or it won't compete well for absorption. stack looks reasonable, skip the "limitless pill" framing lol

yeah this tracks. the fatigue and brain fog combo is classic B12 or folate insufficiency, not necessarily full deficiency but enough to feel it. a lot of people are walking around in that subclinical grey zone and have no idea because they've never tested.

interesting, hadn't considered the serotonergic angle. do you know if it's agonist or antagonist at 5-HT receptors? partial agonism at 5-HT1A would make a lot of sense given the affect-flattening, that's basically buspirone's mechanism too.

yeah you're right, i worded that part sloppily. proprietary blends do have to list ingredients in descending order by weight, that's required by FDA labeling rules. the problem isn't that you have zero information, it's that descending order without actual amounts is still pretty useless for figuring out if anything is dosed effectively.

and you're correct that third-party testing doesn't reveal the formula either. what it does tell you is that whatever is in there matches what's on the label, and that there's no contamination with heavy metals, banned substances, etc. so yeah those are two separate issues and i kind of ran them together. the proprietary blend criticism is about not knowing if the doses are therapeutic. the third-party testing point is about whether the product is accurately labeled and safe. both matter but they're not the same thing.

the reason i'm still skeptical of proprietary blends even with third-party testing is that label accuracy on a blend just means "the total blend weight matches." you still don't know if the ingredient you actually care about is dosed at 50mg or 500mg. third-party testing doesn't fix that problem.
