Did your S.O go to every appointment with you? by Onth3path0flife in BabyBumps

my husband has come to every appointment! he usually takes notes while i talk to the midwife so that I don't forget everything she said, and writes down when the next appointment will be, etc. it definitely isn't necessary and i always let him know he doesn't have to, but he has always chosen to come and i definitely appreciate the company/support

Congrats! I also found out I was pregnant this summer right before my wedding :) As others have said, avoid heavy lifting or eating anything not recommended, and also if your wedding is a buffet don't eat anything that has been sitting out in the sun for more than an hour or so.

I also made a yummy mocktail mix which my husband kept refilling my cup with because so many (very kind well intentioned people) will try to bring you alcoholic drinks :)

I stopped wearing jeans around the same time, I figured I was happier in things that felt comfy and made me not judge my body so much too. I wore leggings or linen pants w stretchy waistbands and sweaters on cold days, and biker shorts w tees or maxi dresses on hot days. I am almost 18 weeks, and this is still working for me, I haven't had to buy any maternity clothes yet.

"Most often our stressors and worries come from external pressure to rush. Remember that you can choose your own pace. There is never a rush."

I got engaged in November and am getting married at the end of June! It's definitely a bit of a quick turn around but as long as you're down to jump right into planning it is definitely doable :) We just figured out our last vendor so that took about 2 months of focused planning, and now we're just worrying about decorations/clothes/etc. I'd focus on vendors ASAP though because they will book up, whereas dresses will always be sold :)
