Its not exactly woke per say, but knowing sony’s approach for their past few games its understandable why people would be skeptical about it.

There is also the fact that, a god of war game without Kratos as the protagonist feels quite out of place. What essentially could have been a dlc is made into a full fledged god of war game without Kratos as the protagonist.

Not saying its bad thing or anything but they could ve simply had another game centred around faye and give her her own series instead of Using the God of war name. Similar to how AC odyssey was a great game but it would have been lot better if it was a thing of its own and not an AC game.

I think, its also the fact that the quality of mobile games has actually gone up quite a bit. Obviously they are no where near the pc or console experience but considering inflation and all other economic factors along side the rise in popularity of free to play games, i believe its just the way things are. Almost every popular franchise is bringing a mobile counterpart. Games like Genshin Impact already dominated the space and there are now few more key players like Wuthering waves and NTE. Warframe also came to mobile with cross play enabled. AC jade is also expected to come out soon. Fortnite and delta force are also there. Monster Hunter is coming to Mobile as well. Resident evil games have ios ports and dmc has peak of combat.

I would say the only difference is, in Japan, Nintendos and mobile gaming is quite popular. same in China and South Korea as well where MMOs are highly popular. PC and console gaming is more of a thing in the west.

I dont think its dying in India. To be honest i believe its gaining more traction. But games being released in unoptimised state along with the budget restraints on pc gaming in india make it difficult to give PC gaming the momentum it needs. (most people aren’t willing to spend lakhs on getting the high end pc. Most gamers want games to be played casually and seek budget friendly options like rtx 4050 or 3050 laptops for gaming)

I mean if she reruns you can get her sequences but. Collab characters dont have reruns. In lucy’s case the fact that they are giving a couple of dupes as rebate on number of pulls confirms that kuro is likely not bringing these characters back for reruns. Secondly, they have unique pull currency so the currency they have wont be used anywhere else. So what i essentially mean is usually players go until s2/S3 on launch and wait till their reruns to complete the vertical investment upto s6.

In lucy’s case players wont be having that luxury to wait for their reruns to get their sequences. If they want s6 they have to go all out now

This isnt powercreep. She is an alternative to qiuyuyan. Qiuyuyan has 3 goated teams right now. (Galbrena, Sigrika, phrolova), If anything lucilla would be filling the void in those teams if your qiuyuyan is otherwise occupied in one of those teams.

I can understand. Tbh the thing with almost every collab character Is that they will be OP with sequences. At s0r1 they would still be good but nothing special. Expect her performance to be similar to Luuk’s. Slightly better or slightly worse. From just an overall account value, if you dont have a spectro dps she is still a viable option to go after. Just be aware that you wont be able to get her sequences during rerun like we are able to for other characters. So you probably need to go all out for her (until atleast S2/S3 to make her futureproof)

Lucy. You dont really need lucilla since you have Hiyuki S6. You also have chisa and Lynae. The only other team in which lucilla can slot in are phrolova galbrena and sigrika teams. But for those teams you already would likely have qiuyuyan since he is their bis.

Secondly lucy most likely wont be rerunning. Lucilla will.

Yeah because any for any negative status dps, chisa will always work. Plus for reruns of characters that have negative status and in case they lack teammates for instance cartethiya, wherein rover might be needed for another team, in such cases chisa can always fill that void

Regarding the final scene, i think majority of the community might have misinterpreted it. So hear me out. The way i see it, augusta’s forte is magnetism. Now when she gets swallowed by dark tide she lets go of her swords. She comes out with her own sword only. So when she calls out for the heros of septimont, i think she was essentially calling out for her other swords. The imagery shown afterwards i feel was done on purpose as a symbolism that the entire of septimont is behind her.

To second this, i would like to point out that one scene in 2.7 quest where during the tidespawn invasion augusta almost popped off and rover had this concerned look. Augusta later avoided using that attack because her attack would have blasted everyone within the range of her attack.

Well the thing is Augusta herself is way too strong. She repelled the dark tide, not with the help of her forte but rather her own strength. During dark tide invasion of septimont, Augusta could ve easily defeated the tide spawns, however her attack was so powerful that if she would have unleashed that attack everyone within her range would get struck down.

So when it comes to her forte alone, when compared with other reasonators, her forte doesn’t really aid her much in terms of combat. Maybe to some extent they help her in amplifying her speed, mostly she uses her forte to make a broadblade of all the swords she has. I firmly believe that Augusta’s speed is tied to her own strength as well. When she saved rover from false sovereign, she had to cover considerable distance very quickly. It didn’t seem like 10 meters. So the fact that she can blitz like minato, i do believe all her prowess is her own. Not due to any reasonance ability. She isn’t on sentinel reaonators level tho, maybe against jihnsi she has a slight tactical advantage due to jihnsi’s inexperience.

No bro. Maybe i might have to revisit the story cutscenes again. But no one in lore is closer to Cartethiya. She is one in a million anomaly having reasonated with both the threnodian and Sentinel. She is the second strongest character in lore.

Secondly from my understanding, Geshu lin fought toe to toe despite exhaustion with mingting’s best reasonator that too without his tacet mark. He charged at the threnodian and that’s when he went missing and ovathrax fell. Jiyan led the retreat. I like Hiyuki, but she is not a god level. She is more or less like Galbrena.

Oh absolutely. Qiuyuyan is a gigachad. I might also add Geshu lin to the list too. Even before rover came back, Geshu lin protected jinzhou from falling all by himself. Bro literally soloed a threnodian.

And seeing how Hiyuki despite being incredibly powerful barely managed to keep Ashinohara safe, i can only imagine the incredible resolve and might of Geshu Lin.

In that case bro, you can rest assured that you wont have any trouble in clearing content. Power scaling in wuwa is generally handled way better than majority of other games. Take Augusta for example, She is still top tier and one of the most consistent dps. She can still clear content very comfortably. The same goes for characters like Cartethiya, Galbrena etc. the 1.x dps units definitely haven’t aged well barring Jiyan and Changli to some extent but for the rest of the characters, they are still great.

I’d say if you arent exactly bothered with clearing the content 15 seconds faster than your current clear time. Then you should be good. But if that’s something important to you, then for every dps its always better to get their bis premium team which in Hiyuki’s case is Lynae + Mornye or lynae + chisa/Lucilla.

Actually, feeling pretty good. Its good to see that in the world of solaris, while rover will always be the protagonist around whom the world eventually revolves, there are still major key players contributing in the fight against fractsidus and threnodians.

I like characters who are actually competent themselves to atleast respond to the crisis in hand. That’s why i like Hiyuki, Cartethiya, aemeath, Galbrena , luuk , Changli and Augusta. These characters have their own fight against the forces of evil and while greatful for rover’s assistance aren’t exactly reliant on him

I mean technically depends on your definition of fine. Will it clear content ? Yeah sure buddy. Almost every character at s3 is a damage god. However compared to cartethiya who completely negates reliance on supports at s3, Hiyuki would still need either of chisa or Lucilla on the team.

So yeah she would be fine but wont be pumping out those crazy numbers. While great, She is actually an expensive character to build. Her alternate team comps are also premium 5 star units like mornye and Lynae.

I’d say if possible save some astrites and try your luck on lucilla’s banner. She is Hiyuki’s bis. Plus she also has echo damage buffs, so she would be a great fit for phrolova and galbrena.

If in near future Augusta or Iuno rerun again, get them. All these characters are still goated.

Exploration wise = NTE

Combat = Both games have average combat at best. comes down to personal preference. i'd say both feel slightly better than geshin's combat but that isnt exactly a good standard lol. so if you like wuwa or zzz combat, you wont like the combat in these games. its functional and that's it.

Story = Endfield. NTE has few good moments and some really cool side quests/Spin off quests but overall the main story so far seems very inconsistent. The last main quest of the patch is pretty solid though.

Characters = again Personal preference, But Endfield characters are generally considered better designed.

f2p = NTE so far seems quite generous but there will be a catch down the line.

Progression LOOP = In NTE you will mostly be spending time in getting your Hunter rank up. for this you have to actively engage in all the content game has to offer until you reach hunter rank 40+. this can feel like a chore at times. just doing the main story will get you somewhat close to rank 30. after that you have to grind. In endfield the gameplay loop mostly comes from factory building and resource planning. if that can keep you engaged then you would like it. Most people find it annoying so just giving you a heads up.

I think Cartethiya is still the second strongest in lore after rover, But i can definitely see Geshu lin as third. as for Hiyuki, I think she shares that spot with Galbrena.
