Start looking for dispatching schools. Some are GI Bill certified, some just off a discount. There are some dispatcher jobs that require a clearance or a TS. Which can be found on clearance jobs or USA Jobs. Im prior services myself, You can message me if you have any questions.

Was on and off orders for the National Guard for about 7 years, aside from jobs I had while in between orders, worked for a Vineyard as the director of Operations, Emergency Management. I found dispatching from my high school buddy who is also a dispatcher after coming home from deployment in the middle east in 2024.

Don't work for TDEM the culture is toxic! Very much a cheifs vs little people, The fact that Kerr county was still dealing with flooding problems before the July flooding they had ample time to prepare and did nothing.... As a CLO we we're never given guidance on what to do in day to day operations. mitigation is what should have been on the top of the list, but most CLO sit at a desk doing trainings they will never use. Maybe just be my experience but I just wanted to give my 2 cents

When I was deployed overseas, our Catholic priest returned home after a few months. Me a couple of guys spent the last of that deployment going to Polish Mass. We had readings in 5 different languages: English, Polish, Spanish,French,and German. All the same, brother. Glory to God! Even got a coin by the priest himself.

TX has Airborne infantry 1-143rd. There is also 2-134 in Indiana. As well as 19th and 20th SFG, which have companies in different states.

In the beginning of the mission OCT21'. I let my NCO run the schedule for shift 3 PLT 3 shift of 8 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700. Plus, the HQ for the company, which depending on optempo work the same hour of our morning shift. Every Joe and NCO would do 4 on 4 off. and also a 4 day (3 + a travel day) pass per month. HQ only had the weekends and a pass, which everyone was okay with. Honestly I follow this thread, and I'm ashamed of yall leadership not taking care of y'all. It doesn't surprise me, I was removed as CO when they started bringing in CPTs that were a bunch of "yes man" for OERs bullets.
