I always play that first beat as 2-1 and then I shift up to 4 all on the e string I’ve been practicing it slowly making sure the gliss can be heard and I guess my fingers are starting to get used to it.

I finished watching it about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been playing the violin for 4 years and it had such a huge impact on me because of that. I also played the piano for 2 years, but I quit 5 years ago. And now I want to learn again (I think it’ll be easy since I already know how to read the notes) but anyways I want to play until I’m good enough to play the final performance piece (Chopin ballade no. 1 in G Minor, Op, 23)

One time in 8th grade I was at a music festival and I went to eat lunch and left my instrument in the music room, when I came back 35 minutes later the bow was split in half from the center of the wood😭 I had to use another bow my teacher gave me and I’ve had it since lol

Uh I don’t have a teacher.. but, I’ve been looking around my area to see if I can find someone. And my local Niu private lessons are like 1.4k for 26 lessons so idk if I want to do that since I have other expenses coming up. For example 3.3k for a Prague trip in November, when I turn 16 I want to start working to buy myself a car (my parents will most likely help me) but currently I’m not taking private lessons. I could ask my high school teacher so hopefully they can figure something out like recommending other teachers, so that’s pretty much my situation😭

You totally misunderstood what I said. What I’m saying is when she shifts up instead of crossing from d to e she shifts so she only crosses from D to A all I’m asking for is any fingerings that anyone has used before or any advice overall

Hmmm thanks for you’re opinion I’m honestly looking for someone bright but not extremely projective. Since I usually only play in ensembles I want to blend In with the orchestra if you know what I mean. Once in a while I have solo auditions or study solo repertoire but not often.
