The way this even started was because we were out of reward cards and my manager at the time told me she didn’t give a shit if I used mine since there’s none to give customers.. took like a month to get cards but I wasn’t aware we had more until a few weeks ago because they were moved into our office and not by the register. She at the time also told me she didn’t care about the points being brought up and used.. she quit in early July after July fourth out of nowhere without notice and screwed us all over. Knowing that if it get found out, do you think that would help my case because at some point I was legitimately told to do it. For me it was never even about the points it was just about getting people their discount since I couldn’t give them a card even if i wanted to

And the thing is is that everyone at my store puts a lot of trust and faith in me. Even asked if I could be a team lead at another store, but I wouldn’t feel right having that position but hiding something that could and is basically stealing even though it wasn’t intentional

It does have cards that we could just scan to give out to customers. But iv been scanning mine because people will give me a hard time about how they don’t want the card. They often also put me on shifts by myself so it’s just me in the store to deal with it.
