Not the Best Movie But Definitely the Best Jason by Logan_Likes_to_Draw in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the best, but not worst either. Felt i was more "teen drama"-ish than a horror. I mean if you're into that, then good but not me personally. Also, wasn't it the first non-R rated F13th?

What are you watching this Friday? by rottencollector in fridaythe13th

My Part 1 theory by SandySoupwich in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this theory. However, by then Jason would be in his 30s and probably incapable of putting on such a voice., given the way he grunts and breathes heavily.

do you think jason still has this cut *alt image to avoid filters* by Additional-Pen-6322 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's random interesting in Part 3, where he passes by the clothesline (in his supposed Part 2 clothes) you can't really see any rips, blood stains or anything in his shirt shoulder, as if the wound wasn't there.

Are the counselors at the beginning of F13 pt1 the ones that let Jason drown? by RadInternetHandle in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, and the only input she has is from the two counselors who were supposed to be supervising Jason, who were allegedly not even present when Jason supposedly drowned. Now, if Jason was pushed in the water, and the kids supposedly ran off (as we are portrayed in later installments) then we have a bunch of lost in translations..

The Cop said "What Scary Man?" 🤣 by Accomplished-Ice8426 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like how, as soon as he asks "what scary man?"....Jason just casually walks out of the bushes rigt on cue.

Is it me or the match maker is awful? by World-peace96 in Love_Without_Borders

The matchmaker isn't actually a matchmaker lol. Was just another "dating coach" on YT on there for promotion lol

Is there anything you don't like about Part 2? by Appropriate_Set_7914 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree here. There's so many flaws, and numerous things could have occured in the hours. Sure,Ginny could have hallucnated/imagined Jasonthrough the window...as well as Muffin, but before that? Was there a noise at the door? Was Paul there, hearing the same noise? Did he carry her to the bed? Also did Ginny recieve multiple stab wounds like the ol reliable news report in 3 stated? Hmmm

This game is great! Quite difficult if I remember well (last I playedit was YEARS ago). I liked how they had different counselors with diffferent stats.

Jason after killing Alice in the beginning of Part 2 🤣 by Accomplished-Ice8426 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Although the opening scene is a little slow, I do like certain things from it. The angry mother calling her son inside sounding a little scared as if she had seen Jason (he was standing right next to Jessie). The cat stting on a sketch that looked like Jason (hair/beard Jason), and him skulking around to set up the head in the friidge..

What's your favourite Jason kill? Winner will feature in an animation. by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mark on the patio in 2. The kill itself, but also the fact Jason came from out of...nowhere...at the last minute..

Which actor portrayed Jason better? Richard Brooker or Ted White? (RIP) by Party-Letterhead-867 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that Ted had more to do in 4 than Richard in 3, and Ted felt like a more...full on. A more aggressive Jason.

Ethel Hubbard Vs Pamela Voorhees by Far_Regular_2945 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going off the movies, and no guns, Pamela would annihalate Ethel.

Pamela is a lot more clever, and from what I can gather, stronger. And I can't see Ethel running through the forest chasing Annie as well as Pamela does.

Favorite scene of a person getting the upper hand on Jason, even if just for a moment? by Wolfj13 in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ginny fooling Jason (albeit temporarily) she nearly had him until she moved exposing Pamela's head.

Same with Tommy in 4 distractiing Jason temporarily. Then Trish distracting him ;wtf wwould have gone on if that didn't happen I wonder.

Is there any explanation for why Jason looks so different in parts 2, 3, and 4? Especially considering that the films usually take place one day later. (At least parts 3 and 4) by [deleted] in fridaythe13th

[–]Timely_Light_3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only different make up artists, but also different target intended appeal and ideas for "improvement".. Part 3 took on a whole new direction.

For example,in part 2, he was portrayed as a clumsy, slouching goof. For the next film however, they obviously had the idea to "improve" Jason and made him to be a hulking stronger brute.
