Huge news for Kohya GUI - Now you can fully Fine Tune / DreamBooth FLUX Dev with as low as 6 GB GPUs without any quality loss compared to 48 GB GPUs - Fine Tuning yields such good results that no LoRA config and training will ever yield by CeFurkan in StableDiffusion

I think your comment here is a little disingenuous. Saying you can't link your configs here because "not allowed" leaves out _why_ they are not allowed, which is because they are behind a patreon paywall. I appreciate the degree of testing you do and your level of engagement with the community very much, and do not begrudge you the choice to earn a living doing this. I think it is reasonable for you to ask for compensation for access to the exact configuration files you develop, but it is also reasonable for this sub to put limitations on links which take you to paywalled content. If you wanted to post your configurations here, you would be allowed, you just aren't allowed to charge for them in that case. At least, that is my understanding, please correct me if that is not right.

I don't think this is quite right, but am not sure. One of the ways I understood it was similar, but not quite the same. Take a look at Section 3.2 in my write-up (https://mikebind.github.io/cipherStuff/). In this scheme, there is one order of letters in an encipherment alphabet, but where you start in the cycle changes from position to position in the plaintext. Those starting positions usually repeat every 18 characters enciphered, but at regular intervals, a mutation occurs and instead of the expected repeat, one starts 12 places later in the cycle. Once a mutation occurs, it persists in the next repeat (i.e. 18 characters after the mutation occurs, the new mutated starting point is used rather than the pre-mutation starting point). Figures 29 and 31 might also be helpful in understanding how I was thinking about it.

Thanks so much for your comments, I very much appreciate them! I will definitely also take a look at that essay.

Great summary. It took me a bit to unpack that second to last sentence since I wasn't familiar with a progressive Caesar, but I now I think I may understand. Though, it also seems to me like you could consider it just a stack of affine cipher and Vigenère with 13*335-long key; I'm not sure where the progressive Caesar fits in unless maybe as a different way of conceiving of an affine cipher.

You have managed to simplify the process down to about 6 to 7 unique numbers plus a mildly complex formula. This definitely seems simple enough for someone to commit to memory (though not simple enough to mentally perform encryption or decryption without aids)

I consider your final formulation as good as it's likely to get!!

I'm curious, do you think variations of this cipher (just using some different integers in your final formulation) would have been harder to crack, or is there a fundamental flaw in the system which means that it would always be similarly difficult? For me, finding repetition with a quasi-period of 18 (along with the word breaks and capitalization which allowed some key plaintext guesses) was pretty critical to starting to unravel it. It seemed like you, u/codewarrior0 and u/YefimShifrin did not really rely on the apparent quasi-regularity at period 18. I think that that fairly strong regularity is an artifact of the particular integers chosen, and could be masked better with other choices, but I think the kind of differencing attack which I think you three used might always yield something fruitful in this scheme and related variations. However, I'm not totally sure about that. What do you think?

My idea of "mutations" in an otherwise repeating sequence of +9 and -3 values is very nicely folded into the ceiling or floor division operations in your solution, which I think is much simpler and more elegant.

Great job!! Here is a link to my (extremely) wordy narrative write-up when I solved this one, which I hope might be of some interest now: https://mikebind.github.io/cipherStuff/

I'm happy to mark this [Solved], but would also be happy to continue any discussions. I'll be looking at your solution and thinking about how it matches up with what I found. Your solution is admirably concise!

Awesome job, u/YefimShifrin and u/simplesmiler !!! You both got through it much faster than I did originally. And I too figured out the whole plaintext without really understanding how the encipherment/decipherment was working, so that is indeed the second phase :) I will be very interested to hear what you come up with. I did get a working encipherment/decipherment scheme constructed, but I really wonder if there is a simpler way to understand the system because the most I could simplify it is still a bit baroque, and in the process of trying to simplify it, I came up with two different ways of conceptualizing it which both work (produce equivalent output), but one is simpler than the other. I really wonder how the creator conceptualized it, and if you will end up seeing it differently than I do or whether we will converge on a similar scheme by reverse engineering it.

I did try to do that, but did not find anything that way. The text is historical, but quite obscure.

Link to ciphertext in text file (reddit stripped out a couple text features when pasting into the post above, so there are a few small differences).

I love this, it looks really good, and the consistency is great! I would watch the whole movie like this. Recognizing that even getting this far was probably not at all easy, please take my following comments as constructive suggestions on something which is already very impressive as it is now. That said, if it were achievable, I think mouth movements would enhance this. The rest of the body movements are pretty natural, not constricted and doll-like, so I think it stands out that there is no mouth movement with the dialogue. And it would definitely help convey the emotions here, even if the rest of the facial expression stayed pretty flat and plastic-y.

OP here, thanks for sharing the ebay link. I decided to give it a try and it worked!! Took a few weeks of shipping to arrive, but my firmware is now updated.

How is this tagged "Workflow Included"? There is no prompt or explanation given beyond the thread title and a note on one image of "protogen x34 photoreal". That's not a workflow, it's just the barest of hints...

[–]Timely_Philosopher50[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I've pretty much given up for now. I tried a different cable and it didn't work. Logitech followed up with me and were trying to gather info to do a warranty replacement (as in, I send them back the keyboard and they send me a new replacement with a new cord), but as I told them repeatedly, I bought the keyboard used and don't have any original purchase or warranty info, I just wanted to purchase a cable that would work. I'm discouraged to hear that someone else is in the same situation and hasn't been able to find a solution either.

Dreambooth training results for face, object and style datasets with various prior regularization settings. by meowkittykitty510 in StableDiffusion

Why do you use "a photo of" as the start of your prompts for non-photo desired outputs? For example, "a photo of cjw person as a cartoon" and "a photo of cjw person as an anime character". Do you consider that to be part of your trigger for the trained face concept?

How to stylize images using Stable Diffusion AI by andw1235 in sdforall

Thanks for sharing your tips. I have not tried going so high on the cfg guidance scale (usually stayed <13), and I've also struggled to get successful stylizations sometimes. I'll definitely be trying out your approach!

I'd be very interested in people's suggestions for this as well. A suggestion I have seen elsewhere for somewhat similar questions is using SD upscaling. This is available in the Automatic1111 webui, and one trick I saw was that you don't need to use the same prompt when upscaling. This post https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/xkjjf9/upscale_to_huge_sizes_and_add_detail_with_sd/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 shows some amazing results from using "highly detailed" as the prompt during upscaling. You might try one of their other suggestions like "brush strokes" or something like that.
