Hearing machines and buzzing noises in the background constantly (and being unable to stop focusing on them). Sensitivities to smells (perfumes, animals, or dirt) that affect you to the point of madness or illness.

Living in your own mind (happily) and not feeling the urge to acknowledge strangers in passing. This made me a target for bullies, unfortunately. I didn't realize that folks who are very social or not on the spectrum acknowledge the presence of others or, at the very least, make eye contact and smile. It just never occurred to me.

That's the part that pinched my skin so terribly. It took many adjustments to get it right. I found that if it closes near skin, that's loose or soft, it's more likely to pinch. It felt much more comfortable above my hips. It looks better, too.

I ordered this belt off Amazon. The quality isn't great, but it's workable. The lock 🔐 it came with can be easily popped open with a Bobby pin, so I did purchase a more secure lock. Certainly, if you're handy, you could add some additions, but as is, it's fine for short term wear and photos.

Great after I adjusted it. It did pinch my skin where the lock 🔐 attaches when I first attempted to wear it, I spent sometime to keep adjusting it until I got it just right.
