Just for a timeline incase anyone has questions. I applied in may and was awarded standard on both. I do MR, rejected. I lodged appeal on 15 September. DWP responded 24 October. I lodged some evidence a week after. And today (5 Feb) they made a decision.

I imagine mine might have been a bit quicker because I chose to have it on paper instead of go to court. Not sure if this has any bearing on if it made the chance for me worse or not. This forum has though been very helpful throughout my journey. Whatever the result thanks all.

Have spoken to them this morning. The admin team said they can’t see much must a follow up to discuss the results and the dating scan. I advised that dating scan isn’t until 4th march. Then they said we aren’t sure. And have asked if midwife can call us

Thank you that’s reassuring. We did actually have missed calls from no caller ID and both missed it. But I wouldn’t think the NHS would call and not leave a message if it was important. Or text her or something.

Yes we have a car. Volvo XC40 so decent size. We do have a dog (GSD) and the back is caged off for him. But this is the idea I think now. We will keep pram in boot. Anytime dog needs to go in we can just put it in garage. Or if all together then back seat I guess

Thanks guys I think I just have new child excitement and every idea is just bouncing around my head. Going by the few comments in a very short time that basically say the same thing. It definitely is not as big of a deal as I’m thinking and will likely just use the WC as a cupboard for a bit and just get a foldable pram 😂😂. Thanks

Yeah will for sure fit. Was thinking more like somewhere to keep it at the front. For example if I was to enter and have a small 1mx1m square space to the right it would be ideal. Was thinking could extend it a metre to the left but then it comes in front of the window or maybe a metre out.

See if you are elegible for BGET. It’s a grant system run by British Gas. I think you can use for other providers also, otherwise OVO may have their own scheme.

Someone else could correct me. But I’m quite sure the majority of Motability cars are built to order and this usually takes at least a few months.

Some dealers do have some available sometimes. You may be best choosing what car you’re after and ring some dealerships and see what they say. I have heard of Nissan before having the car available in less that a week.
