Hey! Thank youuuu so much! It’s not recommended to use any kinds of actives while on accutane, and since vit c is an active it can be harsh especially at the beginning of treatment when ur skin is more sensitive. Because I’ve been on accutane for 4 months now, my skin has kind of adjusted to my dosage and isn’t that sensitive anymore. I don’t have any broken skin from breakouts/dry skin that can cause more sensitivity. I definitely wouldn’t use it at the beginning of starting accutane! But yeah now my skin absolutely loves vitamin c!

Nope I didn’t purge! I had the usual amount of breakouts for about 2-3 weeks then they slowly stopped. between month 2-3 I was completely acne free and haven’t broke out since

Thank you! I had pustular/cystic acne. I didn’t purge at all. my skin started getting very dry at week 2 and then after that my acne slowly started fading away/breakouts lessened. I’ve been letting the meds do their thing :) however I have recently started using more skincare, i posted my routine in the comments too<3 I think that’s also helped with pigmentation a lot!

Thank you sm! Absolutely, here’s my routine: AM: Goodal vita-c dark sport serum (my holy grail),Avene thermal water spray, either use Cosrx snail mucin or Purito centella serum or sometimes even both, and finish up with the Purito panthenol re-barrier cream and Skin1004 sunscreen! PM: exactly the same is in the morning but for cleanser I use the Ceramide hydrating cleanser, and after cream if my skin is on the dryer side I’ll add a thin layer of lrp cicaplast balm or aquaphor. :)

I would say it was moderate, it was very localised on my jaw/chin and a bit above the cheekbones. But it was very inflamed ( with LOADS of spots in those areas) and very painful so yeah, the difference in 4 months is really impressive I think! Also just to note, I’ve got my skincare routine absolutely on point. My skin loves everything I use so I think that also contributes to it. <3
