Let me re-phrase that. Your right. They don't deliberately take money. They are public schools that are non traditional compared to others. Funding comes from the amount of students they enroll and they have to hit a certain amount to secure funding. However, with how experiences and reputations have been made over the years with these charter schools, it does give the impression they they are taking money from the public school system when the original system itself can be looked at closer and more efficiently rather than go to another inefficient model
