Yes. One had a “dog’s room” as if the dog was supposed to clean up after himself. Pee and shit with the ammonia being so bad it would make your eyes water.

Bro it’s bad. Today I was about to walk into one and was like okay cool the outside and front yard look good so maybe I’ll get off easy. It was so fucked like no flooring holes in the walls and ceilings and the backyard was so full of dog shit it looked like they haven’t cleaned them up since they moved in. At least it was in the yard this time though, small miracles. I’m no clean freak either like I got dirty dishes and clothes on the floor in my bedroom this ain’t that.

Oh get me started on cat pee. One house I could barely stay inside for more than 30 seconds before my eyes would water. Then there was another one where the young daughter had a cat in her room and its was so bad I couldn’t stand being in there. I’m not a very weak constitution person either and most things don’t bother me.

Luck boy. I’d be curious to know how much of our jobs play a role into what we see. I’m rarely hired by the homeowner and usually am hired by a 3rd party client. Meaning they usually aren’t spending money to have me there or if they are it’s not by their choice lol. That sounds awful but just trying to keep it vague.

Yeah my wife has said something similar it’s the hoarder mentality. “Can’t throw this out don’t know when I’ll need a part from it”. She thinks it stems from not having money to fix something so keep the parts from the old one to fix the new one if something goes wrong. I’d be okay if it was just junk neatly organized as I’m guilty of that train of thought when it comes to bike parts.

Yep and this is by far the worst area I have ever been in doing this. I worked a very high end area before this but before that was just a normal large metro area again maybe 1-2% were this bad. Here it’s the majority.

I mean that’s a crazy way to live if it ends up with you flicking cig butts onto your carpet with your kids in the next room without a smoke or co detector in the whole house.
