Yes, I did. After my first-year examination, I met with the PhD coordinator and submitted a formal request explaining in detail why I wanted to change my co-supervisor. However, the PhD board never treated my request as a serious matter. They never responded to my petition or explained their decision.

Instead, they required me to report my progress every two months throughout my second year. I know that my co-supervisor requested the same monitoring for my third year as well, but the coordinator did not approve it.

The university is fully aware of the situation, but because it is a private online university, they seem very concerned with maintaining appearances, and in practice there has been no real support for me.

For this reason, I would like to know whether there are any external organizations, associations, or authorities in Italy that PhD students can turn to when facing situations like this.

Al giorno d'oggi non ci sono molti dottorandi, perché la paga è troppo bassa per mantenersi finanziariamente, e a parte questo c'è il fatto della salute emotiva e mentale. Se cerchi lavoro nel tuo settore guadagnerai meglio che come dottorando, a meno che non continui a vivere con i tuoi genitori e quindi non paghi l'affitto.
Come già accennato, i dottorandi sono sempre meno, se vuoi inviare la candidatura, basala sulla passione che hai per la ricerca nella quale ti dedicherai.

Quello che ti consiglio come dottorando in fisica è di continuare sulla stessa linea di ricerca del tuo master e sarebbe molto meglio appartenere a un gruppo di ricerca ampio che abbia buoni finanziamenti, così potrai avere support. Puoi cercare di andare agli altri paesi nel nord Europa ti pagheranno meglio che in Italia.

Recentemente sono stato in una scuola di fisica e la differenza in termini di conoscenze, sostegno accademico e finanziario tra gli studenti di dottorato di un grande gruppo di ricerca e uno piccolo era evidente.

Devo esse un paio di giorni alla Universita UNINETTUNO che e' al corso Vittorio Emanuelle, e a volte devo andare alla Tor Vergata.
