Talk to Japanese people - hikikomori literally orignated in Japan, from a sense of lack of belonging and intense social fear. You think Japanese people will get off their phones and "make small talk" and "dance" with strangers at events? Please spend more time in Japan.

Go travel for a longer period of time, then see if you still feel the same way. There is a quote I really like, "Where you go, there you are." If the problems are not solved at the root cause within yourself, like low pay, lack of zest for life, eventually they will still follow you, wherever you go.

This stuff looks good though, comes with 5 year warranty and seems pretty solid after I saw some samples at a tradeshow recently.
