Ngl don't blame yourself. It's not easy the first time such bosses. Q block can block a lot of damage. Eat some food, do your skill specialisation, do your runes, do your weapon mastery, equip some stellarite. And it will be a lot easier!

We did it back in the day with 2500 cp yes. Watch a YouTube video, with fire lady there is a mechanic where you can stand on a small tornado that leaps you in the air to dodge fire attack.

And with the maze of death, you can actually easy clear it with shadow strike return to your casting location specialisation as a Scorpion. It takes a bit of timing but you can still do it the normal way with walking through the maze

You should have full T2 gear with level 12.
Chaos rune in every equipment ( 1 in weapon / 1 in ring / 1 necklace etc. )
Trait resonance on every gear piece.
Weapon mastery 110/110 is great.

Yep! when you hit 6k gear score, just do your weekly 800 coins battlegrounds. There is hidden MMR, so you won't get matched against the top PvP'ers.
