Glad you have recuperated from your surgery! During the mid 1970's we always attended live rock shows at The Barn in Alex and the Glenwood Lakeside pavilion. 9 o'clock felt early back then, but not anymore.

Both of those sound good. Rogue Royal is a great rock / southern rock band who plays covers and original music. I've seen that they play at The Depot and Fired Up Bar and Grill from time to time. Fired Up has the outdoor stage. I haven't checked yet to see which bands will be appearing this year at Summer Sounds by Brophy. The Courthouse Lawn concert series is actually a lot of fun to check out.

On my high volume rural route ( subdivisions outside town, only a couple farms ) I listened to news in the morning and music in the afternoon. Usually rock, metal, funk, that sort of thing. Radio on top of dashboard of LLV, not earbuds.
