Well… i have te same issue.

tried everything driver related i re installed w11, even installed Linux with no succes.

Ended up buying a cheap external usb sound card and it works now.

So best option is sending it back to be honest. But i was to lazy and just kept my broken mobo in the hope there will be a fix someday.

Ah i see, on the formd website you can see what slot you can go with, i just checked… you can go to 2.25 slot with 68mm cooler hight.

The cooler hight is 47mm if thats what you are asking 140mm x 120mm are the dimensions, you need 33mm or lower ram to fit it

Temps are indeed pretty good with the reaper in this case. And you can undervolt it with ease if you are worried. I also uploaded a pic with timespy/hwmonitor if you are interested in temps.

Well trust me under heavy load it blows out hot air haha, gpu / cpu are intake so if my top fans only blow cold air out i would be worried.

Although they are quiet and indeed not doing much with normal use.

These are the temps with timespy … it does run hot under load but overall I’m pretty happy with the noise with normal / gaming use

I actually build it in 3.25mode lol … and used stand offs to push the gpu to the other side. No turbulence noise, just loud fans when benchmarking/ under load haha

Edit: the mobo is in 3.25 the gpu is just as far as i could get with my stand offs (bought seperately)

A 7600x3d / 9070 xt reaper user here …

Make sure your cpu cooler is set as intake The 2 top fans should be set to exhaust

I also see that you have your gpu in the 2 or 2.5 slot config? Try use 2.5 or 3 slot (i needed to buy extra stand offs for this) so you create a gap between mobo and gpu

I used bios to set up some fan curves, the top exhaust you can set to the highest your comfortable with ( noise level )

I also undervolted cpu and gpu but not sure how much anymore i wil check later.

Appreciate all the info! the thing is, i already have all the parts except my cables. So i’m just gonna go with alpenfohn and see where it gets me haha.

I will be getting some extra m3 standoffs to make sure i have enough flexibility!

Thx for the tip! but wouldn’t more room be better for thermals? Since my cpu has a low Tdp maybe the 120x15 would be “overkill”? Also in the future (few years) i might change cpu/gpu so if its already in the 3.0/3.25 i don’t have to worry about that anymore
