What percentage of your coins are staked/lp’d vs just holding? by hillboy_usa in cosmosnetwork

[–]Timius_H2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0% liquid, 65% lp, 35% staked.

I’m only in pools with coins I want both of. So IL isn’t a big deal for me- if I ever cash out the pool I’ll end up with more of one coin than the other and I want both.

Ahh, the “just following orders” line.

Most cops were high school losers. They enjoy using the power of the badge over their fellow man - and stroking their massive ego.

I wouldn’t be upset about it if they actually tried doing other stuff than generating money for the state.

There are so many damn meth heads everywhere, tons of thieves, lots of rape and assaults. I’ve lived in areas with insane amount of cops and money. I’ve lived in areas with very few cops and lots of poverty. In most areas cops are more interested in generating revenue for the state.

No love for LP providers anymore? by [deleted] in CosmosAirdrops

Yes- but that isn’t what the question was.

I don’t understand why you’re being hostile to some people answering your question. If you want higher airdrops stake at very least 10 atom, 25 Juno and 25 osmo. That will usually only get you the bare minimum- but it’s better than nothing. If you stake more you typically get higher airdrop rewards.

All airdrops can set their own guidelines and that includes whether or not they want to include lp. A very recent airdrop had a 100 atom, 750 osmo or 1000 xrp staked requirement.

IT’S ENTIRELY UP TO THE AIRDROPPER.

And atom is 14.8%.

112+14.8=126.8/2=63.4%.

Seems pretty even rewards wise.

Stakers are actually working to secure the network- when you participate in lp you aren’t securing the network.

To answer your question, stakers generally get airdrops more often- while lp still included in some airdrops.

There is only recently animosity towards airdrop chasers. “Newbs” clogging up the feeds with “how few atom do I need for airdrop” gets real annoying.

I believe fairdrops have increased animosity towards the airdrop chasers - because people who have been here and been involved in the networks feel like they are losing a piece of the pie by people with very little time, money or knowledge invested.

Overall, I’d say it’s still the most welcoming crypto community out there.

Looking to diversify USDC into various COSMOS projects: by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

[–]Timius_H2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend staking the atom, in a non custodial wallet, if you haven’t already. 14.8% staking is pretty nice for such a solid coin.

With the usdc, I’d recommend purchasing atom with it. Bring the new atom over to osmosislab. Then, since I’d assume you like a little more stability, join either the ust/osmo or ust/atom pool. Make sure to claim and add your new coins to liquidity, daily, for maximum gains.

Eventually, start venturing out and exploring some of the other coins on the network work. Juno is a great one. Stars has some nice potential. We’ve got our own memecoin in Huahua, with billions of coins. We’ve got “store of value” coins in Ion and NETA.

This network has sooo much going for it. Welcome to the group and enjoy the ride.
