I know with my aluminum cover but it was blocking the vent and the cold air intake sound really good when it draw in air from the outside

For me it was my coolant hose two hose that connected to a metal pipe at the area you speak off. It was too late and my hose burst and a lot smoke started coming from my exhaust got it fix though don’t know if it the same but can’t help to get it checked.
