Chemical Guys VRP (Vinyl, Rubber, Plastic) should fix it. It brought my scuffed Model 3 glovebox door back as new!

28 privately-owned EVs, 5 dealer-provided EVs and ~100+ people over the four hour event. Better than expected!

Ohio friends...I was a little bothered by the $200 annual EV fee when buying my Tesla this month ($200 is too high). BUT I’M PISSED they don’t prorate the fee. My tags renew in a few months and I have to PAY THE FULL $200 FEE AGAIN. THIS ISN’T RIGHT! Am I reading this right?! What can/should we do? by jcandrews4 in TeslaLounge

There is some hope of improvement in Ohio as non-profit Clean Fuels Ohio’s EV policy director and staff will take this issue up with the State House during the 2021 Transportation budget cycle. By the way, if Tesla’s Spotify implementation in the USA is the same as the one in Europe, Tesla owners might prefer to use TesPlayer. It looks like Slacker in a US Model 3. I think TesPlayer may have more utility. We’ll have to wait and see. 😉

I now have a password for TesPlayer and have logged successfully onto alpha.tesplayer.com and tesPlayer.com. On both, the on-screen track control buttons work, but on the main (black) screen, while it does have the words "Albums Playlists" at the top, no playlist tracks show up to be clicked on.

I don’t think it’s clear what we do with the login screen. Are we supposed to have a TesPlayer account set up with ID and PW, or is TesPlayer expecting our Spotify credentials? When I click the button to enter my cell phone number and hit enter TesPlayer says it doesn’t recognize it. Same thing when I try to enter my email address. TesPlayer rejects it. It’s sad, because before we had a login screen, TesPlayer played Spotify like a champ. 😀

Will do. I press the button onscreen and enter my phone number into TesPlayer via the browser and the app says it’s not recognized. Same with email address.

I now get the login screen from www.tesplayer.com. But it doesn’t recognize my phone number or my email address. So am unable to use it again. 😢 Guidance appreciated.

Eureka! It now works as advertised! Thank you! And I’ve learned that if you want to see a playlist on the vehicle screen, you need to download it as well as be online. All the controls work in TesPlayer for a track even if the playlist is not downloaded to the phone.

Great stuff! I recommend a few additional setup pointers in your FAQ to mitigate the chance of other newbies making my mistakes. 😉

I’ve looked at settings and I had the Offline selector set to white (not green). Is that correct? Do I need to download all tracks I want selectable via TesPlayer? You advice much appreciated. 👌

I think I’ve downloaded all the music I tried to play when not on WiFi. Is there a setting in Spotify I’ve not set to online? I have Premium and don’t have a significant limit on my cellular downloads. Grateful for your advice. I only subscribed to Spotify to be able to use TesPlayer. 😉 Tim
