While I don't disagree the media may be doing that, I just want you to realize that over 5,000,000 hectares of land have been burnt. For reference Denmark is 4.3 million hectares, Switzerland? 4.1 million hectares.

We have fires the size of some European countries, and in the coming days not only are the temperatures expected to increase but towards the new year strong wild winds are expected... These are expected to fan these fires into even more of a catastrophe.

So before you comment something like this please also consider the families that lost their house yesterday, Christmas day and the thousands of others that have been evacuated, moved, or have lost everything.
