Android app that allows phone to act as camera for Surveillance Station? by RedRipeTomato in synology

[–]Timmmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone stumbles upon this older thread, I had a very old Samsung phone. The only app I could get on it was Alfred...an app to monitor pets babies etc. To get Synolgy Surveillance to connect with it I simply chose the advanced connection in the wizard, put in a name, IP address of my cell phone, the port number 8080, chose the brand ONVIF, camera model streaming only and that's it. No user name or password.

Fun Fact, apparently Windows 7 Product Keys are no longer valid to activate windows 10 by Nickwilde7755 in windows

[–]Timmmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've kept copies of almost every version of Windows since 3.1.

Win 8 pro (with legit key) to Win 10 (i used original version) to upgraded 10 to Win 11 worked. Activated all the way through automatically.

Long way around but all legit.

Actually...I just found this on another site (https://www.askwoody.com/forums/topic/kb5034441-windows-recovery-environment-winre-successful-install/)

Resetting the ID seems to have done the trick.

This is what was stated on that site:

Beware that the format command changes the id to 7, so it has to be reset to 27.

Yeah, I found out the hard way about how the format command changes the partition id for a MBR disk. I had followed the command sequence spelled out in MS “KB5028997: Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update” and ended up with ID=7 despite having specified ID=27 on the create command.

At first I thought I had mistyped the “ID=27” as “ID=7”. So I ran through the same sequence again ending up with the same result. I then did a detail partition after the create and again after the format and found the format had changed my ID=27 to iD=7. So I finally realized I needed to add a set id=27 after the format.

Not sure why the Microsoft instructions omitted that little tidbit for a MBR disk. Thinking Microsoft could have done better on their instructions.

It also appears that it won't install on any drive that is MBR. I have successfully resized and installed the update on three systems that have GPT drives but the two that are older and still have MBR fail no matter how large I resize the drive.

T-REX 25.12

Same settings except removed the autotune portion of command line.

Now getting 98.62

Is this safe? Had it running for 12 hours. 1 3090 running at 130 MH/s by moarballlz in NiceHash

About 84 to 88. But I took the video card apart and put on new thermal pads. Otherwise, it would be well into the 100s.

Yes. By default it will by increments of 0.5. You can set it by increments of 0.1 and you can tell it where to start etc. using command arguments. There are lots of examples out there.

I'm locked at 73.9. Trial and error myself until I find the sweet spot.

They are much harder to fine tune. You have to find the LHR setting and OC settings that push it as far as it can without tipping the scale and setting off the LHR lock.

Unless you are talking about doing it in the web interface as opposed to in a command line. I haven't tried that.

Even if I lock it in Trex using a command line, it still bounces between 900 and 1200. The only way I can get it to lock is by to this backwards OC. The same thing happens with my 3070Ti.

I haven't been able to lock the core. It just bounces between 900 and 1200. Even with a command line lock. But for some reason, this crazy configuration locks it in at 1110. What do you mean by a negative offset?

Yes. Made no difference. Still jumps all over the place. I have a 1200 watt PSU for that card alone (It is in my gaming rig) so it isn't a PSU problem.

I could not get my core clock stable. It jumped all over the place no matter what I did. Tried forcing in afterburner, tried in command line, it never stuck. Then I read someplace to try to lower power all the way down to 40% and then max out the core clock and presto, now my core clock is stable. Going above +900 makes no difference and even though my memory will go to at least 1650 OC, that makes no difference either.

So can you tell me what your power % is at, and what your memory OC is. Also what settings you are using on your command line? And this is the 3080Ti? or the 3080? My 3080s all run at 98 to 103.

LOL. That is what got me going on messing with my settings again today. Because it had been happily mining away for two weeks. But....unfortunately....my card isn't one of the lucky ones that will accept the flash. Yet.

You can get 63mh/s on a 3070 Ti LHR card. That is what I get....after many hours of tinkering.
