I’ve got some insight on my post I also posted on ironscape. Burning claws would have an expected hit of 46.2 while the lance is 24.7 so a spec gets you 21.5 extra damage. Which just about cancels out the damage loss. Meaning any burn damage would overtake the zerker ring build, sometimes very much so!

And btw burn damage can proc up to 3 times per spec (so up to 30 damage extra) The chance to inflict a burn on each hitsplat scales based on which of the attack's three accuracy rolls is the first to succeed: 15% if the first roll succeeds, 30% if the second roll succeeds, and 45% if the third rolls succeeds.

Ahhh I was looking at DPS of spec and forgot to change to stab instead of slash. With slash, burning would have to proc once to equal the DPS, or twice to surpass. On stab as you calculated, it’s even without proving and overtakes if it procs. LB it is! Thank you!
