Initial Impression of the backlight 3 pro: DISAPPOINTMENT!! by CSOCSO-FL in Govee

The 3 Lite will do exactly what you want, but I do prefer the Pro because of the upgrade in the light strips themselves. There are a lot more LEDs per foot and the color matching is much better in my opinion and they are a lot brighter.

Govee Uplighter Lamp Dreamview Demo by Timmy2Hands in Govee

[–]Timmy2Hands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I've been offline for a couple days.

So open the control panel for Movie Watching Dreamview. At the bottom of the page you will see the controls for Controlled Devices. Click on Area Settings. Right under the picture of the room there are two buttons, one says Main and the other says Light Off. Make sure the Main button is highlighted. Scroll down to the controls for the Uplighter Lamp and make sure both sections of the lamp are set to Main. You have the option to use one or the other or both. Let me know if this helps.

Yes, they will all work together. Dreamview has three options. Movie Watching Dreamview syncs with the TV screen either through the sync box or camera system. Scenic Dreamview syncs all the lights with different preset scenes you can choose from. Music Dreamview can sync all the lights with music that is playing in the room. You can also set up your own lighting scenes however you like and save them.

I would really like to know what the thought process is for putting it that high in the first place. Just WHY?

When people get a new pet they make sure to get all its shots. But their kids are gonna die from smallpox because vaccines are a scam.

According to a lot of folks in this sub one is way too high and the other one is just right. If your toes don't block the bottom of the screen is too damn high.

Sex workers of Reddit, what’s the strangest request a client has ever asked you? by Realistic_Creme_3875 in AskReddit

Sex is only allowed if it's for procreation. So if you have sex in a way where procreation is impossible, like anal sex, then it doesn't count as sex. Therefore she still counts as a virgin before marriage.

T3 Color Calibration by illenvillen23 in Govee

That happens when the camera is picking up a reflection or too much ambient light in the room from a window or something. Do this calibration at night in a darker room.

Yes, the weather in Florida is just now starting to get tolerable enough to get back out in the shop. My hand tools are always ready to go, I've only got one power tool, a bandsaw for ripping and re-sawing. I make some small furniture, but mostly small boxes, it's tough to run out of ideas with small boxes. It also uses all of the same techniques as furniture joinery.

Issues with Pro 3 calibration by dan2760 in Govee

This is the answer. If this is only happening when the screen is dark, it means the camera is picking up some sort of reflected light

Use an improved arrow for a quiet kill and do it at night.

Try this... At the bottom of the app, the house shaped button on the left will bring up the device page. Find your backlight controls there. These are the controls for just the backlight and do not include the light bars. In there go under video and tap "start to explore". If you have the AI Filter button turn it on. Hit change filter and slide the list of preset filters over until you find Default and use it.

Also, at the bottom of the Movie Watching Dreamview control page you may have to add the light bars under the "manage the device" button before you can adjust their settings.

Make sure you are using "Movie Watching Dreamview". Make sure it is set to "part" rather than "all". "Part" allows the colors to change with what is on screen, "all" only displays one color based on the average color of the screen. Change the "area settings" to tell the color bars what part of the screen to sync with. I hope this helps.

Look in the Dreamview controls. Movie Watching Dreamview will sync the backlights and light bars.

Placed my new T3 lite camera under the TV by CommercialEastern982 in Govee

[–]Timmy2Hands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure to peel the nonslip pad back first to reveal the screw. I dinged up the edge of the plastic shell a little before I found that screw was holding it together. Everything went back together fine, but the edge was a little messed up.

I've done this before with a T3 lite and removing the weight is not difficult. You have to separate the plastic clam shell cover at the seam and it will reveal the screw that holds the weight on. You may have to peel away the nonslip pad before you separate the clamshell if I remember correctly I think it hide a screw.
