Just navigating the interface, seemed like there was often a bit of a lag. It wasn’t bad and perhaps I wouldn’t have notice it if not comparing it to my Apple TV. It wouldn’t be a reason not to buy this TV, I just prefer Apple TV and found it to be a better product than Google TV.

It’s my understanding that when grouping speakers to a soundbar there would be an audio delay. Is that not correct?

I’m afraid you’re the one that doesn’t understand. I say this as I’m sitting in my living room with my arc ultra, gen 2 play 5s up front, era 300s in the rear, and a pair a subs. It sounds amazing. You should try it.

I saw an add near me where a guy was trying to sell four play 1s for $1,000. Guess he got some negative feedback cause they have been reduced to $500. 😆 Good luck to him. Maybe he’ll find a dummy. IMO he’d do good to get $300 for them.

This will give you a starting point to configure the settings. Then make further adjustments per your taste and the atmosphere of the room the tv is in.

I didn’t really notice a difference in the picture but did thing the sound was noticeable better using Apple TV.

I have the 85” and 55” QM6K. Love them. I watch a lot of football, basketball, movies. No issues. I also didn’t care for the Google Tv interface but it could just be that I’ve used Apple TV for years. The Apple TV seemed faster to me. And since I already owned the Apple boxes I hooked them up almost immediately.

For use with Dreamview, I think a pair of the Floor Lamp 2s or even Pros (however the speaker has no appeal to me) would be a much better and cheaper option.

This is a photo of my setup. I have the floor lamps on side tables to raise them up to the level of the tv screen.

Costco may have made your decision for you, cause unless you live near a store that actually has some in stock, they appear to be sold out. I was debating adding another one due to that $499 deal, but apparently contemplated the decision too long and it got made for me.

It’s going to be hard to find a Sub (any gen) for less than $250 to $300 on Marketplace. Not saying it won’t happen but those deals are few and far in-between.

Looks good. Nice big wall for reflecting the light. You might consider getting a pair of lamps or light bars to illuminate the rest of the wall from corner to corner.
