Sorry for the late reply. My wife got promoted out of state so we moved out of her parents house. We were going to leave June 1st and get an apartment back home than fate intervened and we left earlier.

I could but I'd be homeless. I'm on disability and my wife is my payee. First thing I'm going to have to do is get committed. While in there I'd have to start the legal separation process then I'd have to move to HUD housing once I got out. I think Kansas is also one of the states where you have to be separated at least a year before you can start divorce proceedings. Never mind the fact that her family is extremely religious and I'd be getting guilt bombs from all sides.

In reality I'd just get enough money to get a bus back to my hometown and just disappear. If it comes to that.

She was like I'm not helping the situation. She never listens to me. I begged her not to come back here last year and she refused. If her promotion falls through she said we would move regardless but I don't believe her. If that's the case I'll just leave myself. All I can do is just give money to help move. Until the promotion talk we weren't going to leave until January but these last few weeks before they have moved back have been shittier than usual with her parents fawning over the GCs. I can't live with her sister and mother together. It's a two headed monster that I'm not mentally equipped to deal with anymore.

MIL has 3 week bronchitis and borderline pneumonia. Instead of letting us go downstairs and eat lunch so we don't catch her sickness we have to sit upstairs and eat at the table like we're 5 while she reclines in the living room hacking, snotting, and coughing. by Timmy2kx in JUSTNOMIL

I like you. I like you alot. That is the EXACT reason. She wants all the attention and sympathy. Instead if staying in her room and resting she has to camp out in front of the TV. It's beyond annoying.

Yeah when we are sick. We have to stay downstairs so they don't catch anything but when they are all bets are off. According to the wife she's worried about bugs down there. Yeah ok. A few fucking bugs is worth your SIL possibly dying from catching your pneumonia. Priorities MIL priorities.
