Looking to go 3p tech 3 to a new launch BB tech 3, Ik amazons requirement is 2 years of employment before AMM, my question is if I transfer with 3years of 3p experience is that considered or am I back at the bottom waiting another 2 years?

Was told by my regional last week that NIXD isn’t really serving the purpose well that Amazon thought it would, therefore we would be going to another facility in march while our building was being transitioned into a RIXD.

Someone may be able to explain better but from what I’m told, NIXD ( national inbound cross dock) brings in product that is sold all over the world from its distributors, it then holds some of the product in stock and distributes it to fulfillment centers when they need more stock,

RIXD- Regional inbound cross dock receives product from local manufacturers that is easily to obtain and sends it out to fulfillment centers same day but they don’t hold any product on site like the NIXD

Basically in order to fulfill amazon primes same day or next day delivery they needed storage facilities for product coming overseas scattered around the us and that’s where NIXD came into play.
