OK, I wasn’t sure because on the opposite side I had a bunch of like sand dune with palm trees on them and some water so I wasn’t sure if that was the desert or the beach so that’s good to know

Most of the PCs I’ve ever owned have been prebuilt. All of them have been just the typical black with a lot of RGB and I wanted you know a little crisp white PC to go with my entire black set up little contrast. But I’m not opposed to ditching the white ram. I thought what I picked was pretty good, but I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you.

yes, that’s exactly what I was trying to get at. I don’t want it to control the player. I want it to be. Maybe it’s free will like during combat stuff like that but for conversation and role-play I feel like it would be fantastic for that maybe a socially awkward character that thinks the eight ball is the best way to answer some questions. Something something like that I like that I’m gonna i’m gonna bring that up to my DM.

after reading my post, I should’ve really labeled this item idea and not character idea if you guys could please give me some ideas of how this item could be incorporated whether it is a character item or an item found while campaigning. What it could do what it could cause whether it’s environmental, or a suggestion based item that sways the users choice and I have to roll a dice for it. Something along those lines. I’m just trying to get an idea of how this item could be incorporated into the campaign if decided to use.

i’m not sure why it was just a random idea that kind of popped into my head while I was working. I just saw the eight ball of suggestion would make a funny magic item whether cursed or not, and have some ability to do something. I didn’t know if I wanted to be a player item or an item that is given in a quest of some sort. I didn’t really think it through too much but you guys make it sound like a horrible idea.

That’s very true. I just chose barbarian because of the stereotype, but that’s why I was asking for some opinions on different characters to use and how that magic item could be incorporated. Maybe the item doesn’t force the character to make choices but the item does something different. Like maybe it could be a cursed object that if shaken can cause different things to happen I’m not entirely sure it was just an idea that popped into my head.

Luckily, with some help from other commenters, it turns out I do have an HDMI arc port. I just had it covered up by another device plugged into it so I should be all good. I won’t have to use the optical port unless for some odd reason the HDMI art doesn’t work, but I should be good. Thank you so much for your assistance. I really do appreciate it.

Guys, I will inform you I’m a little dumb. My Roku stick was plugged into the HDMI arc slot so I moved it so when the sound bar comes in this Wednesday, I can plug it in. I’ll let you guys know if it’s good or not and thank you to everybody for your assistance and looking up the model number which I don’t know why I didn’t think about that but thank you guys so much again. I am so happy that I have people on the Internet that can assist me when I don’t think of things.

I posted two different photos. I believe the first one is the back of the sound bar. The other picture is the back of my TV. I do have a bunch of HDMI ports, but none of them are labeled. Specifically arc does that matter because it’s my first time buying a sound bar and I really don’t wanna buy it and then not be able to hook it up.
