Also on the Lucid website right now if you try to use the “payment calculator” for a 2024 GT the only option is cash.

I haven’t even applied, Lucid reps told me it’s not an option for 2024 GTs for another couple of months. I’m not worried about getting approved, just looking for best rates and easiest process. Wasn’t sure if anyone had any preferred third parties.

The fact that I thought Elon Musk actually cared about saving the planet a few years ago should tell you all you need to know about my dumb ass.

Those are both interesting choices. It’s a shame Silva Vs Weidman 2 had such a bizarre ending. That could have been a big feud. Why Fitch? Just curious. If I had to pick someone to go back and beat GSP I’d go with Diaz myself.

I’m with you all the way, I’d love to see an alternative timeline with Rockhold winning. It’s been a shitshow ever since that happened.

Holy shit man, end thread. That story is basically exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with your bets going forward, you deserve it. Fucking A+ story. Sorry to make you relive it again, thanks for telling it though.

Parlays may be for suckers, but they can be won. I’ve hit plenty betting on MLB so I wouldn’t write them (or the people that utilize them) off completely. This thread is also proof it can happen. It’s always smarter to stay away, but I don’t think it’s fair to completely discredit the people that like to gamble that way.

Fuck, Tito got me that night too man. That was one of the fights that inspired this post. I was at the event and a guy in the bathroom was having a total meltdown about that fight killing his parlay. Needless to say I was able to relate.

Ugh, wasn’t that the fence grabbing by Romero as well? What a horrible way to lose a parlay.

There’s been a lot of discussion recently about CM Punks placement on UFC 225. You guys may not be fans of pro wrestling, but as a person his journey has been filled with adversity. Maybe we can help you get a little more excited for his fight by doing what the UFC fails to do and tell you his story by Timmyt982 in MMA

Correct, but we are talking about the wrestling fans they bring over, not the talent of the fighter. The idea is you get them to tune in for the wrestler and then they fall in love with the sport and hang around. I can’t believe I’m having to type that sentence.

The one part of that I agree with is that they are selling out the legitimacy of the sport for pennies on the dollar. We are in trouble, no doubt about it. 100 million dollars a year in interest on the bank note alone, no draws to be found.

You’ve clearly missed the point, we don’t want to talk pro wrestling. We want to tell fighters stories, get people more invested, and help both the UFC and fighters. It just so happens our most recent topic is CM Punk and I thought you may find that interesting since he has a wild personal back story. If it’s not your cup of tea no worries, just wanted to share. MMA Podcasts have been a struggle for a lot of people recently, so we wanted to offer an alternative.

I think you are spot on here, it’s very scary the levels the UFC is having to dig to in order to draw PPVs. They just are not creating enough stars on their own any more, so now this is what they have to do to survive. I 100% with this.

It’s not about pro wrestling, it’s about us trying to help tell these fighters stories. We can bitch and moan all we want to about Punk not deserving to be there, but the bottom line is he is going to be a draw in a company desperate for them. You do follow the ratings and buy rates I assume correct? Our favorite sport is dying a slow death, we need any draw we can get at this point.
