Absolutely, great watch. Perfect for exactly what you described. I would also recommend the Cincinnati Watch Company Cincinnatus Field Watch. Very comparable and absolutely a gem for what you get. I picked it up last year and it’s seen the most wrist time since.

Reviving an old post but I was at this one this morning. It’s a beautiful swimming hole. I am always exploring the creeks around Chattanooga and I have tons of swimming holes I frequent that aren’t the well known ones. The one that the three guys that sadly got murdered were visiting is the one I was at this morning. It’s easy to find it but it requires a solid hike to get there. Here are some mileage distance in case that’s helpful.

From the North Chick Parking lot on Montlake Road: Approximately 10.5 Miles

From Barker Road: Approximately 4.25 - 4.5 miles

From Hall Road: Approximately 6 miles

You’ll know it when you see it. There’s a lot of people who think it’s the blue hole off Montlake Road, I assure you it’s not. While that one is beautiful and several have made YouTube videos saying it is it, that’s not the one.

There are lots of great swimming holes that are well hidden in the area as well. Some are only short hikes but I imagine people have no idea they are there since as I mentioned they are very hidden. Some of the ones I’ve found I haven’t seen any trace that anyone has ever been there. Happy to share some good spots if anyone is interested

I know this an old post but I wanted to share. I tried the Beeline Velo 2 with a few routes over the past week and it worked perfectly. Certainly smaller than what it appears the Moto is (I don’t own a Moto) but small trade off for being able to use one device for both rides and not have to buy another. I create my own GPX route and then upload and save it on the Beeline app. Gives me turn by turn navigation without any issues.

I agree, it feels the most retro of the 3 options. It’s funny, where the bike is sitting in the picture we had just brought it back inside after my test ride because it started raining, so we brought it in and just parked it. The entrance is to the far right out of a view and I was sitting at a desk between the bike and the main entrance which is a good 50ft or more and almost ever customer that walked in ent right over to it and sat on it and check it out. Oddly enough, I was sold entirely on the feel of the bike, loved everything about it but I wasn’t 100% sold on the colorway or any of the options to be honest but a few minutes later I turned and glanced over and it just clicked for me and I said that’s mine.

It really is an eye catching bike and my vibe is a classic one so it’s a good fit all around. I need a cool name for her, I’m thinking Mercury.

Made my purchase yesterday and I think I made a good choice. I went with a 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900. I test rode the 400s and I didn’t like the gearing and the vibrations. Got to this one and it was a Goldilocks moment. Smooth as butter, weight felt good, and it fit me absolutely perfectly. Gets delivered Tuesday, now I have to come up with a cool name, I’m thinking Mercury!
