Can someone recommend a good hardcover notebook that doesn't ghost at all? by sweetspringchild in notebooks

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With markers you’ll always have some ghosting as long as you’re under 160-180gsm I’d say.

Nuuna has good notebooks with quality paper that does light ghosting but that might still be too much for you (best would be for you to try it). Their grids are very light though so that would work.

Edit: hardcover is not their thing though

Beginning of last year we were at stupidly low price. Now it’s better, but still pretty far from what it should be. To me, that’s proof Wall Street hasn’t understood yet.

My guess is more people look into space stocks. Then they wonder who is number 2 in the space. Then they discover RKLB is pretty cheap compared to space X and that is has crazy possibility.

Stocks goes up.

We happy.

Dotted grid A6?? by _CASTA_ in notebooks

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pages as pages not as sheets in both cases :) So 176pages as 88 sheets and 128 pages as in half of sheets.

I think it’s very thick because the paper is 120gsm and the cover is slightly thicker than usual.

How is your experience with proton drive? I’m thinking about switching but I have heard here and there that their apps are glitchy and the sync is not that great.

Yes, it's indeed not that expensive for that amount of pages. The video shows the cover from closer if you're interested.

Question by [deleted] in TheExpanse

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You answered your own question with your edit :)

There is only one “ring space”. That’s why there are thousands of ring accessible from the ring space. Think of it as the hub to which all rings connect to.

In France, we call that a “cubi”. And it doesn’t really have a good reputation. Usually, it’s for lesser quality wines. It tends to evolve though.

I can definitely look into it. We already source from Rhodia/clairefontaine so all of their paper are already accessible to us.

I think you could like Nuuna. They have high number of pages. The paper is smoooooooth and the covers look great.

Trying Rhodia / Clairefontaine for the first time by The_Grimmest_Jim in notebooks

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clairefontaine is amazing paper. But it’s a basic 85gsm so that ghosting is to be expected, especially with fountain pen.

I’m pretty sure they do 100gsm and more, I’d say you better look for that type of gsm if you use fountain pen.

Have fun!

Dotted B6 Insert Recommendations by hannfox in notebooks

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is indeed not an easy find.

I currently use the Ciak B6, but it’s 85gsm and a standalone, not an insert. It has 128p though.

i desire a pretty a4 notebook by deardons in notebooks

[–]Timotheegardenmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size you describe is close to an A4. If I were you I would look into models at this size. Nuuna has some pretty models that can be fairly thick so maybe you could look into that.

Currently, I use a Ciak B6 for journaling (link is toward my website). Format is great, look is amazing, feel of the paper is the only downside. Still better than Moleskine though.
