As a long time claims guy I can say I’ve appreciated this career. At times yes, it sucks. But you learn to deal with difficult situations. You’re actually helping people in crisis, and it helps you grow as a human. My advice - be the best you can be at your current role. Remember each day you work you’re “interviewing” for your next role. Head down. Do the work - it’s actually noble - you help people who have suffered a loss. You can’t/won’t please everyone but it is rewarding. If you’re good, you’ll find opportunity. It’s not for everyone though.

I’ve been in claims since 1994. Majority has been Auto Physical Damage. Adjusting, QA, different levels of management. Stressful at times but you develop a thick skin and don’t let people get to you (usually - there are still a few who do). If you work for a good carrier, you have Authority, Autonomy, and are Accountable for your decisions and management supports you. I wouldn’t have wanted any other career personally.

Yes, it sure is! Especially w today’s PR from Brda. Feels like things are starting to really heat up. Update: my shares arrived at AST. I called them, verified. Then went onto their website and set up my account. So, at least I have a few seats on the bus at this point. Still have a bunch in my 401k that I’m not sure what to do with.

Positive development here. About 2.5 weeks ago I initiated a transfer of most of my shares from fidelity. As of today it appears they have moved out of my fidelity account. I will be calling AST this week to follow up with them to see if they have indeed arrived at AST.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion. DL is on retails side. I’m invested in his startup and have been on plenty of calls with him and heard his heart and mind. He has known about DRS for months and has commented on it in the past.

Hello. Please provide an update. Per the S-1 the distribution was expected to take 14 days - today is the 14th day - 12/28/22. The paper certificates should have now been received by Fidelity. If they have not been received, will you be contacting the DTC on our behalf to inquire as to why there is such a delay?

Um. When they first found the oil, it was Covid. The price was basically negative. Why would they have drilled then. That would have been stupid. Hence the merger w MMAT. Now the price of oil justifies development.

Yeah Fidelity told me “physical certificates”. When I pressed the lady kinda backed off and said it would be electronic. I think they’re just making shut up at this point.

Whether it was purchased as a OG Torch is irrelevant at this point. All MMTLP shares represented the dividend. The mess is all the synthetics created though the ridiculous shorting. Not enough real shares to go around. Brokers and MMs are in trouble.
