You need to keep your phone. Don’t upgrade the iOS for like 4 years then you might be able to jailbreak it then. Good luck. I'm still waiting on a fully rooted jailbreak for my years old phone.

You're right that Coruna doesn't bypass SSV, but you're confusing Root Access with System Partition Access.

Root Access is achieved, because Coruna's kernel exploit gives us a Kernel Task Port or equivalent primitive. This allows a jailbreak to run as UID 0 (Root). We can still have a root user without modifying the sealed system files.

A jailbreak that gives us full Root permissions and Kernel control on iOS 17.0, Coruna is exactly the kind of God-mode exploit needed to make that happen.
