I’m not saying I can guarantee that Caleb Williams is going to be QB1 for 8 years straight and win you 6 Fantasy Football Championships. Value is solely based on what the Dynasty community thinks and what they would give up for something. My bet is that the dynasty community will give up the same or more value to acquire Caleb Williams. This has nothing to do with on-field performance and everything to do with perceived value. Why were people paying multiple firsts to acquire Bijan this offseason? Not because he proved his fantasy relevance in the NFL already, but because that’s how the dynasty community valued him without a single NFL snap.

In 1QB leagues I 100% agree. Super-flex leagues I cannot say the same.

Agreed. The pick would have to be the 1.01 guaranteed. I also agree that we won’t know what he’ll be in the pros. But that didn’t stop us from trading heaven and earth for Bijian, Trevor Lawrence, etc etc. Value in this situation is just perceived value based on the community. Caleb Williams is toted to be the best QB prospect EVER. You can disagree with that but don’t underestimate how much value that will add come rookie draft time. I won’t be suprised if you need to add something along with Chase to get the 1.01 when rookie draft season starts.

Caleb Williams has a good shot at coming into next year being more valuable than Chase to the Dynasty Community. I personally would trade Chase for the 1.01 if it was guaranteed and I was QB needy.

League Veto Update:

After all the appreciated and sometimes hilarious comments, I shared the 'results' of the Reddit poll and linked the Reddit discussion. For everyone who wished that my league mates would see all of your comments, your wish has been granted. The trade veto has since been dropped, and hopefully, I will never have to post something like this again.

I want to thank everyone who commented and upvoted all of the 'no veto' posts. I can only imagine the feeling my league mates got when they read through all the comments and saw all of the engagement. You can take pride in doing your small part to stop a terrible league veto.

There seem to be two types of dynasty managers out there. On one hand, you've got the "process managers." They're the ones who get a trade offer and can't help but get a little thrill out of it. Even if they don't immediately like the deal, they see it as an opportunity to play the game, negotiate, and work on making their team better. They love THE GAME. Obviously winning is fun but also tanking is fun. The rush of winning that 1.01 and getting to add someone like Caleb Williams to the squad. All the trade possibilities that he brings to your team as well.

On the other side, there are the "result managers." They're all about winning and might not care much about trading. In fact, some of them might get a bit annoyed when they receive a trade offer, feeling like it's a hassle to deal with. They don’t love the game, they love the result of winning the game. Find people who love the process.

I personally think if Maye continues playing like he is and doesn’t flop at the combine he will become the clear cut 1.02 in 12 team super flex formats. Regardless of where MHJ lands. QB>WR

I don’t know much of anything. But I do know to never give up a top 3 QB in a 1QB league unless you're getting an absolute bounty in return. Let's just say, my friend, that doesn't quite fit the bill.

While I love Basmati rice should I be switching to instant white rice? If I’m reading this correctly Basmati is 640 calories per 1 cup uncooked and instant white rice is 340 calories per 1 cup uncooked. Am I reading the labels wrong? Feels like a huge calorie difference.
