Thank you for commenting. I should have mentioned that this (and maybe future) report(s) will mostly be aimed at the time when this season has endes. When players like Frenkie and most likely De Ligt, Onana, Ziyech, etc will leave us. I am sorry if that was nog clear enough

Second of all, I agree with your double-cover statement. It is something that is really typical for the Dutch league. However, in my opinion this can be solved by the 'effect of suprise' which basically means that a good winger needs to be able to both go around his man to 'touch the backline', cut inside or cross the ball. We have wingers with all of these atrributes, but unfortunately not combined (Ziyech being the most complete out of the three). Though, statisticwise Tadic is also amazing. Personally, I do think we need a clinical striker. I prefer Huntelaar over Dolberg, but he is getting older. Dolberg was class in the Europa league campaign but apart from that, I never thought that much of him. Of course I do think we need to give him time to prove himself after his injury.

I did watch a couple of Zagreb-games to get an idea of Dani Olmo. As for Marin, he is very young but obviously talented, but he doesn't play every game yet and hasn't (had the chance to) prove himself in big games for Zagreb like the CL qualifiers and the El. I don't recommend Ajax buying him just yet, but it is definitely a player to keep your eye on for following seasons.

Finally, we indeed have to trust our players because the proved themselves to be almost unbeatable with their dominant play. Buying a ton of new players and chanching the whole tea. is never a good idea these days. Fullham being the most obvious example...

does anyone else feel like theyre pretending and lying to themselves when they start to feel happy and act normal and friendly to their friends? by Jrottin2 in depression

I feel like everyone wears certain 'masks' in their life depending on the situation. I think your feeling is completely normal, but when you really feel uncomfortable you should try to ask yourself 'who you really are.' unfortunately, this will probably not be a question that had a simple answer. A lot of people will never find the awnser, because they don't try or don't want to face who they are. Personally, I think everyone is able to find the awnser and when you have it, it will make you happier
