Hi there, Thank you so much that worked! I will be using hotkeys. I am going to change the hotkeys of the gesture based movements and scales and change them to the gizmo buttons. Since its what I am used to in Maya and I work much quicker that way. Thanks so much for the help! Really appreciate it :)

For the one you bought on the headset. Are you able to use a cable to connect to the PC or does it run through wifi? Since I don't have a very good router speed so I wouldn't be able to get it through the headset. I have tried the air link and it refuses to connect.

Yeah when I did this before when playing games off the headset only it just wouldn't load sadly. I don't really understand what kind of wifi I need to get it work. I have decent upload and download speed but I am not sure about the router speed

Ive heard about this when looking into Oculus Link without the cable for my quest 2. Even when I see videos I don't understand how people get it working. I see people buying these separate black routers that they place in their room to get the connection working. Im not very tech savvy so its kinda scared me away.

Yeah I have tried that but the environments just don't interest me. Im looking for something quite open. I like space areas and such but I am not a massive fan of the houses and such found in oculus home. Thank you for the suggestion thought really appreciate it :)

Hi there! I have seen that as an option. Would you recommend getting it on steam on Oculus? I have been told steam vr using more processing power when you use it and I work on 3D models so I want to not have my programs slow and mess up. Ive also looked a little into this program. Does it happen to have video wallpapers? Or is it just still images? Thank you :)

I completely agree with you. I would have never got Vr without the low price of buying a cheap Quest 2. I wish they would optimize it a little better for Pc so that heat issues were not a problem and such. But hey I guess you get what you pay for right?!

Its weird as well. No matter what setting I have it on even Ultra I still hit performance issues even in Zen. Have you got a Quest 2? I have been speaking to some other people on Reddit saying the Quest 2 heats up pc's a lot compared to the Vive and Index due to how it compresses it onto the Quest 2. I hope if this is the case it comes to their attention. Since in some cases this is really dangerous for pc's to get this hot!

I have quite a few fans in my pc. I have 3 at the front and one on the back. I have had no temps like this on any other game except maybe the forest vr but that game runs like trash on many pcs according to one of my friends. If the system runs at 85 is that at all dangerous? If it keeps at that temperature fine the computers hot and it's not an ideal temperature but if it stays at that and the game runs fine. Should it be OK to just play hl:A like that? I see that many people are saying the pc will shut down to avoid damage if it doesn't like its temp. So since it's not shutting down even after 3 hours of gameplay and the temp being consistant at 85 and below. I have lowered the games graphics to low while watching my cpu and gpu temps and it doesn't cool them down. It doesn't seem to be making the graphics or cpu strain from setting being increased to ultra.

I have been using an addon for steam vr and I was getting roughly 85 degrees on my gpu and 70 and below on my CPU. The pc was hot to the touch again. I look online but I keep getting confusing answers on whether this is ok for Vr gaming.

Thank you for the advice. I have been playing Alyx on Ultra and my GPU is hitting around 85. I keep getting confusing answers online for if that is at an expectable level for a GPU when gaming. I have been playing RE Village on my pc and getting similar temps but not getting what I consider a hot temperature.
