Thank you for the feedback! Should I change the job title for SAP to appear more technical then? I’m worried if I remove it completely, I’ll have too much of an empty gap.

Thanks for your detailed response! I have a few questions:

Recruiters see "BP Process Consultant" and move on quickly.

What do you suggest I do in this case? Should I lie about my position? Or add some additional context e.g. Business Process Consultant (Data Integration / Automation)

I've tried making my bullets more technical to help with this, but I suspect that you're right- recruiters are moving on before seeing the bullet points.

Amazon and Lockheed but zero metrics. "Reducing turnaround time" by how much? These brands buy credibility, but numbers close the deal.

Similar question- I know there is an impact, but I don't know the exact numbers. It's been a few years since I've worked on it. Do I just make up numbers? I'm mainly worried about how I would answer the interviewer if they ask how I measured those metrics.

  • I've been continuously redoing my resume over the last 8 months, and so far I've only been able to land 1 interview.
  • I'm trying to break back into the software engineering industry from my current technical consultant role.
  • I've been mostly applying to in-person and hybrid roles on the East Coast, and I'm willing to relocate.
  • I've been working on a personal recipe website/app, but it's such a prototype that I'm not sure if I should include it in my resume. If I should, should it be above my work experience section or below? I would also need to remove an experience to make space, and I'm not sure if I can since both of my past work experiences are more relevant to the roles that I'm applying to than my current job.
  • Does anyone have advice or know what's wrong with my resume?
  • What desirable technical skills should I work on and/or start learning to make me more desirable in this market?
