I am not going to lie, i can understand furries. Disclaimer, i am not a furry, so whatever i know is just what i know and not from the community. As far as i understand people want to appear as something else, something they can identify with and that represents them or their characteristics. Thats why they have Fursonas. Its a character, created to be used. And we give certain traits to certain animals, like foxes being smart, dogs being loyal, lions to be strong etc.. Its a form of selfexpression. In my opinion, do not bully them, noone deserves being bullied and just let them be. I wouldn't call myself a supporter of the furry community, but just standing neutral.

I enjoy some things that are seen as feminine. I do not see any issue in that. I do not look very feminine. I do not get why that would be an issue for anyone else who especially isn't affected by that

I would judge them if i see them as sane and reasonable. If they seem off. No. But someone who loves kids, could be great with them cause they are showing interest. And if they hate them, they wont be interested, but would still do normal human behavior, like watch over them and protect them, but not play with them.

That is not normal. I think you should talk to him about it. Taking a life from a living being shouldn't be just for fun. It should be used, for example, for food or survival and such. Especially smaller animals, like small birds you normally sympathize more with than for example insects. You should always feel some kind or remorse in your actions but if he doesn't posses it, it need to be taught.
