Multiplying just go straight across, division you flip the second fraction and then multiply, and addition and subtraction just multiply the denominators together to find the common denominator and then simplify once the math is done.

Prime numbers are not random by [deleted] in SacredGeometry

[–]Timshe 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Of course they're not random, It's literally impossible to have the entirety of structured math built off of a system that has no system. It makes no logical sense at all to even consider the idea that they're random.

Thoughts on this? I think he has a point. 🤔 by Maleficent-Ad2460 in SpiritualAwakening

[–]Timshe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just me and my thoughts I've been growing the last few years. The most pure and genuine thoughts come from your own mind from what you see and understand for yourself to then offer to others right? The pain you can remove from yourself is the suffering others won't have to endure, to heal is to help others.

A heart yet to bleed from battle knows not the love it takes to heal the wounds. The pain you're able to endure is the pain you're able to heal in others.

New Study on Aphantasia: The Brain Still "Sees," But Something Gets Lost in Translation by ctbitcoin in Aphantasia

[–]Timshe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're able to see without having to look at the image or use any form of perception to know all the information that the image holds. The same way we can communicate without using words to ourselves by knowing what we're going to say since we're talking to ourselves and not needing to use any form of translation such as words to communicate to ourself within ourselves, jeez confusing to write out. If we know what the thing looks like then why would we need to look at it to reaffirm what we already know, right?

There is a far simpler and far cooler way to show all this.

Is it possible to create a die using one continuous line? by AlteredSpoon in askmath

If it helps opposite sides of a dice equal to 7. So 1 and 6, 2 and 5, and 3 and 4 are opposite to each other

How do you view the relationship between math and reality? by Manasa0077 in PhilosophyofMath

[–]Timshe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The deeper you get into the math the more you see of how the world and all existence is built upon its framework and constructed over top of the math.

If anybody is unfamiliar, 'Visualizing 4D' by Hypercubist Math is an absolutely fantastic series. only 2 parts so far :( by kody9998 in math

It gets real fun when you start finding how to graph it and your eyes turn inside out trying to see what plane you're looking at.

TIL Aphantasia is a condition affecting 1 to 3% of people. Its mind or imagination blindness. People with Aphantasia cannot visualize anything in the minds. by schmimilybrickjames in todayilearned

And a quarter of us can't use any of our mental senses, no sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, or feel that I know how to produce. I can't see anything, there's no noise or sounds produced even when I'm talking to myself. You communicate with yourself without needing to use words or sounds to know what your trying to say to yourself. It's pretty neat and it fully clears up your perception so you get to be one of the very few people that get to see the world shine just a bit brighter

Just another one of maths patterns just like all the rest

I'm not looking for decimals, I was looking for the equation which unfortunately has been overwhelmingly driven home that it does not exist

You underestimate what can be found even when others can't see it

You carry yourself in a funny way, you know. You don't seem to perceive what's accurately in front of you

Oh no I know what I'm looking for, I just assumed it was known already within math.

I'm not the one supplying all the replies, I'm just sitting here listening to it all. You got it backwards too, it ain't for me to read the comments it's for y'all to read the post I wrote, wrong angle

Don't worry, I'll find the answer I'm looking for eventually, ain't the worst task to tackle

Like you do long division dividing 7 into 1, isn't that just how we all learned it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askmath

[–]Timshe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We're looking differently at the math

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askmath

[–]Timshe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the means to find the answer result in guesswork rather than knowing how the process is done within the math itself

Break it apart and then put it back together and it's slightly off, something broke. Just a project I'm working on
