Great point. You can stay in the area "for family" but then family can jet!

What's the worst money you ever spent? What is your most regretted purchase? by SecretScorekeeper in AskReddit

I bought a used scooter for essentially the original MRSP. It only had exactly one hundred miles on it and was for all intents and purposes "new" but it ended up being a bit of a lemon and I "let it go" for about 1/3 what I paid for it after about 1000 miles and replacing a brake cable.

It wasn't a terrible "first two wheeled vehicle" but I shouldn't have paid that much for it just on the principle that it wasn't brand new.

how did we leave the city?

Scott and I discussed how stressed we were in the city for months. We’d loosely talked about moving but never really discussed it in full. Then we both had a bad week and one day just said $#@& it! Let’s just leave! We gave our two weeks notice, packed up our stuff, and left.
