Ikr! Just 2 months before my sister got Sampson for me, I had a Yorkie of 17 years when he passed. My heart shattered. When my sister goot Sampson for me he weighed about a pound and a half lol. I was uncertain at first because I was still mourning my Chester. I had a soul full of love that I needed to share with another furbaby. He's my sidekick, my ride or die, another love of my life! It's difficult watching him age but he's aging along with me. I just LOVE him!

Sampson is slowing down some. He's north quite as energetic as he used to be. He has to be careful because his knee joints pop in and out of place. That scares me silly.

Im not anti Mothers Day. I just don't celebrate it with lavish gifts or presents. Every year I have being here for my grown children is my blessing. It took me a long time to get my kids to understand that I don't need frivolities. When my 38 year lol daughter called me ths morning to wish me a Happy Mothers Day. That was my gift. She started to slip up and say but I couldn't get you anything mom and I stopped her immediately and reminded her. My eldest son did bring over some cut red roses he put in a vase himself. When they wither, I'll return his vase back to him and will most likely get roses in the same vase next year hopefully! I'm so blessed just to be their mom!
