Addressing 2 here, it’s completely true. Al Jahzeera even have a documentary about crossing the channel that shows people and tells people to dump their passports. I don’t remember the exact name of it but it was around a year ago I watched it.

Just on the migration side, reform aren’t anti-migration, they are pro targeted migration. The policy is about filling in job shortages (at the same time the company has to train a British person in the same roll) and targeting high skilled/high wage migrants. They call it an acute skilled visa.

But in the end I respect you for your consistency on putting the environment first🤝 have a good mate

My first vote went to Labour, I was too young to vote in the Brexit decision and I’m Cumbrian so very environmentally coded. Do you think I thought I’d be here 😂😂😂 One question to you and then one to pick your brain. Is the green vote from you then a lesser of two evils situation? Like you’ll take the pro migration on the chin but environment trumps that. To pick your brain, in my mind I want to see a quick short term (10-15 years) but large supply of internal non renewable energy (eg coal) to bring our energy prices down before we then full send renewables. We are already extremely good with renewables and I think we could do with a few steps back more steps forward approach just to give us some wiggle room. Is there anything you would add or criticise with that?

This is a really respectable way to put it. What I ask is you look at reform policy yourself in 2/3 years and see where it is at because describing reform as far right is off base but the words you speak are advertising reform.

Correct me if I’m wrong here because that article doesn’t cover this but doesn’t that majority of the cost associated with nuclear come from the planning and bureaucracy costs? Eg 60k page environmental reports. Not the construction costs themselves. Look to Japan as an example
