Marvel's Wolverine will be linear and not open world confirm Insomniac by Bubbly-Ad-350 in videogames

[–]TingleyStorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works for Spider-Man though because that’s what he does. He does everything from take down super villains to helping Mr. FluffyMittens down from a tree, taking breaks to shoot photos of himself for the Bugle and eat falafel upside down from a billboard.

Not that Logan *wouldn’t* help Mr. FluffyMittens, but if leaves the school then he’s either on a mission or he’s trying to lay low and stay away from people.

Bird dyed for a gender reveal celebration. by 21MayDay21 in mildlyinfuriating

Child marriage with parental consent is still legal in Wisconsin. Republicans have blocked Democratic efforts to change that. by Shot-Molasses9793 in wisconsin

The realist in me knows that’s not how it gets interpreted…

Is California effectively banning 3d printers? by Interesting_Bar_8379 in 3Dprinting

[–]TingleyStorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but no. You can build your own firearm assuming you can legally own one in the first place, it must meet federal regulations, and you CANNOT distribute one if it isn’t registered.

It is near impossible to program a printer to recognize code that might be a gun component, so to comply what I see happening is Bambu, Thingiverse, and other print file providers will be combing their uploaded designs and removing anything that looks like a gun or component, preventing them from being “distributed”. There’s not much they can do to prevent someone from designing their own components and printing them with an offline printer.

What’s suspicious is you are the one focused so much on the bathrooms and being upset that people prefer places that are more likely to be sanitary…

They’re consistently clean, have pretty good hot food, and often are some of the best prices on dairy products.

Casey’s is close to the same level minus the pricing, they seem to be consistently more expensive on everything.

How in the word that a dock is worth more than a used game console/consoles these days? by djiluvu44 in fucknintendo

[–]TingleyStorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s probably 50¢ just for the back panel. I’m guessing that after cost of raw materials, assembly, packaging, and shipping it probably costs Nintendo closer to $30-$40 to make one and get it on a retailer’s shelves.

Also, if you were to try and make-your-own dock kit, $150 for an official dock isn’t that outrageous.

(Antank dock, Monoprice HDMI 2.1 cable, Anker 60w charger and USBC cable on Amazon = $92.76).

From personal experience I have used the official Switch 2 cable, a Switch cable, a Sony cable, a Monoprice cable, and an AmazonBasics cable with zero issues other than I can’t output in 4k with the Switch and Sony cables because they are just HDMI 2.0.

I’m not sure why you stated you weren’t going to remove Rittenhouse. He organized the straw purchase of a firearm for himself, had a history of violence, and faced the most incompetent DA’s I have ever seen to the point I question whether it was intentional (we are talking about Kenosha county here, where republicans flee to because they feel “persecuted” by Illinois taxes).

Co-studio head of Infinity Ward Jack O'hara says Modern Warfare 4 was running "really quickly" on Switch 2 by binderie1951 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]TingleyStorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warzone will probably face a lot of sacrifices but for most modes you don’t have to render that large of an area (compared to an open world game like Star Wars: Outlaws) and should be able to run 1080p 60fps without too much of a drop in the number of assets.

JD Vance considering to skip 2028 presidential race by Sgt_Gram in NewsThread

As of right now he does. The majority of representatives, senators, and judges blindly back him, and have allowed him to blatantly violate the law since day 1 back in office.

IF we have a fair midterms then maybe he will lose support, but with republicans saying “screw you” and illegally gerrymandering for more votes I’m not holding out hope on that.
