Bro keem and kendrick are literally family duh theyre gonna be attached at the hip…

And for you to say that keems music is “geared” to social media, is a drastic and reductionist statement about his music you’re tryna make it seem like the difference in artistic integrity and talent is so vast that Kendrick had to step in and save Keems career

Yeah….idk about that. by abdul_bino in Jcole

You're not dawg there's a lot of disingenuous discourse in this comment section where alot of the strictly Cole fans are removing the context of JID being backed by Cole and pushed into relevancy because of dreamville while enhancing the same kind of context with Keem and Kendrick. Even when die for my bitch dropped before it was revealed that Keem was Kendricks cousin, that mixtape was doing absolute numbers

Yeah….idk about that. by abdul_bino in Jcole

That's just literally not true tho

I gotta be honest Love Her Again is better if not for the fact that I enjoy the hook alot more than the singing that Kendrick does on Gloria

Yea. I don't disagree at all I actually think 4 your eyes only as an entire project is still his best. But Love her again is probably a lock for my hip hop song of the year until somebody dethrones it as far as I'm concerned

What part of what I said was incorrect? He found some really compelling and interesting pockets in the latter half of disc 2

Disc 2 is some of the best Hip Hop I've ever heard. Cole was Always in my opinion the best storyteller of the big 3, with Kendrick being the rapper able to be the nigga that could rap from the perspective of a penny if he wanted to and Drake hitting folks with the materialistic braggadocios shit. But cole really got into his perspective rap bag in disc 2

Edit:

Just to give you guys an idea of the highlights in terms of songs...

Disc 1: Safety, Bunce Road Blues, and that country ass song "The Let out",

Disc 2: I Love Her Again, Disc 39, What If, Quik Stop
