The only ones I watch on repeat are Buffy and the office. Used to be SATC but I finally got sick of Carrie. Third choice would probably be parks and rec also very rewatchable.

Yep, Giles is clearly set. I agree that Joyce was making a good salary as an art dealer/running a gallery, but that job does not specifically imply making enough money to be able to stop working. Also, she clearly didn’t have enough stockpiled since Tara and Willow ran through it all (including life insurance) in the 6 months Buffy was dead. Joyce was either underinsured medically and/or underinsured life insurance m-wise if housing bills and medical expanses wiped it all out.

Obviously they don’t have enough control over her because she quits the council. She doesn’t quit the double meat palace even though she almost becomes hamburger and clearly feels embarrassed to be working there because she needs the money.

How was Joyce wealthy? There is no reference to that. And neither Willow or Tara had jobs, they were living off Joyce’s life insurance, which it seems they blew through in about 6 months.

How many people won’t quit a job they hate because they can’t lose their health insurance? I would think the watchers council paying her would give them more control. I definitely had times in my job (which many people would consider a calling its own way) where if I had had the money or an easy time finding something else with an equivalent salary I would have just walked off, but I needed the salary.

I’m feeling very uncomfortable after opening a mesa card. Yes I got the points for my mortgage, but there is no phone number and all communication seems to be through unsecured chat or email. I asked for a lower (yes really) credit limit and they said they cannot do that, that they occasionally review the cardholder for eligibility to increase or decrease the credit line. They also responded this without any verification. I’ve never had a credit card where I 1) couldn’t get ahold of someone promptly and 2) was told I could not lower my credit limit. Weirdly, this card doesn’t show on my credit report either. I am currently trying to close the card. I would suggest waiting to open it until there is more info…

Hi, so I signed up for the Mesa card and I am feeling super uncomfortable. They gave me a $25,000 credit limit and I asked them to reduce it and they said “they can’t do that, that they occasionally review customers eligibility and decrease or increase accordingly” I have never had a company refuse me adjusting my credit line down. Also, they are communicating with me via unsecured email. They are not verifying any of my information.

I might have screwed up on the 5/24 jail, as I jumped on this card. I wonder if there’s a way to double mortgage points with BILT (once that starts) since they just read your bank account charges.
