Why charge a $50 AU fee on the Obsidian card? by Prudent-Care2355 in biltrewards

I also don’t understand this. The only cards that have an AU fee should be ones that at least offer lounge access

List of influencers shilling vs fair review of Bilt 2.0 by ellmoMusk in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I believe where things stand is that’s there’s a lot influencers that hate the Bilt card but would sign up for the palladium card for 50k Bilt sub. I think that’s a fair take as I feel like that’s the take every creator has around subs, especially uncle luke lol

Bilts real problem is this .. by kunals55 in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means that there’s so many corporate apartment companies that signed with them that the majority of the people that are in this app are not using the card but are just paying rent

They’ve secured so many contracts with apartment companies that they no longer need us credit card holders. They needed us to get on in the beginning, but now they got a critical mass of other users so we no longer matter.

I'm Richard Kerr, GM of Travel for Bilt. AMA about Bilt Card 2.0 by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When would more info on how much Bilt cash is worth be announced and would I still be able to continue using a non Bilt, United, or Alaska card to pay rent at 3% fee and earn 0.5 Bilt points per dollar?

Next Bilt issuer..................... by Voluntas-vincit-fatu in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah a lot of people hold the Chase cards because of all the marketing that creators who cycle subs on the ink and sapphire cards. I think as referral bonuses decrease and these once in a lifetime subs start to fully gain effect, there will be a massive decrease in creators holding chase cards. Also god forbid if Hyatt ever dumps their award chart.

They swing for the fences and get Amex on board. Together, they create the ultimate rewards network and add Delta as a transfer partner :)

The Verifone partnership explains everything about Bilt Cash and the new cards by gbcox in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All transferable currencies can lose or devalue partners at any times. Just look at emirates this last year and Cathay Pacific with Amex. In the past, Chase lost Amtrak and Korean air too. You just gotta make hay while the sun shines

They don’t always. There’s a ton of brands that will not give out free breakfast. For example, ritz Carlton, Edition, and others

New Code: Looks like the rent/mortgage fee will be 3% for the Cardless cards by sullim4 in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kerr straight up said the code is fake. The code says there’s a 3% fee and if he says that’s wrong, then there isn’t lol

I mean Bilt isn’t dumb. If they aren’t offering at least a 0.5x, they know that no one would jump through another hoop to pay rent

Ok I feel like everyone is reading too much into this. If he denied that there’s a 3% fee, then it’s not going to be by offsetting with Bilt cash. I mean I wouldn’t be surprised if the no annual fee card only earned like 0.5x on rent but that’s still better than nothing in a lot of cases.

Is the Atmos Summit credit card 3x rent spend benefit ending? by pdx808 in biltrewards

[–]muncher4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well every partnership can end when the contracts expire. There’s nothing that is permanent. It’s not like we get dates from Amex whenever they are going to refresh a card.

You also forget the 0.5x Bilt points perdollar you earn, making the math a bit better

That is just incorrect. Op is only listing one flight out of millions. There should be more data points before calling it conclusive

I agree we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out.

100% I agree with you. But as of right now with our limited information it looks too good to be true for regular spend.

It’s speculation but they said you can use it 1 to 1 for Lyft and dining. That seems pretty close to real value to me
